But my aim is still 58...I don't even count how many 58 I failed, but it would seem to be like 30...objective B is the worst thing in this level, but I remeber failing a 58 where objective B completed and objective A failed
I really wonder wether I will finish this level again in the future...
Besides, I tried to get Runway agent 23, but I failed at every attempt of it : I don't launch the first grenade because it always back-boosts me, and then I launch twice two grenades in the air (however, it is very rare that I have the four boosts)...Should I try launching grenades on the ground to get 23?

Are you using the current WR strat? If so the 126 is slow, but w/e, thats OK. If you're just looking for a sub 120 time, play either the old strat or the 00 strat for a much better chance at the hostages escaping. Not as fast, but, meh.

I found a good method that i used for my sa/00 times, is too gl the first drone after the ladder warp, then shoot a gl shot at the other drone(to complete them all), then shot the ammo dump last. I rarely had any gl shots diseaper when i did this method.
So try that out, also for 00, you can always take the right route where the cave splits, just after finishing the gl shots part.(only 2 guards have a shot at hiting you from this side, much safer.)

Aside from dying half the time, the other half is spent getting backed from that faggot between the hut and the tank. I think if I play this level with the mentality that the cams are pure luck, eventually they'll complete and I'll have sub 1:00.

After this, I threw my control into a wall. Then it blew apart. I got my air rifle and shot the remaining bits. Then I pissed on the shards, put them into a firepit, burned them, and did a tribal dance around the fire. Then these African tribal members came and danced too. It helped.

After the first failed, I found it unfair to fail a time I would never do again. Three failed later, I find it boring, because my PR still is 2'35. I didn't even try the Trev shot (to tell the truth, I tried a little, but stopped after 3 or 4 tries).

EDIT - it IS the far left one. Not that I don't throw high enough, but that I detonate too early.
It might not work from the right strafe strat. I only got it to work once when it actually hit somthing and stuck to a wall.

The last time I played Statue I'd get 225s on good runs (like 1/0 ratio with decent returns) without completing the Trev shot. My guess is that the strafing into walls tricks and opening the end door earlier collectively might save a second on the old days. In any case, there's absolutely no doubt that if the Trev shot didn't exist, the records would be at worst 225 and they'd be pretty easy.

And nothing came out of my Archives attempts except two or three runs that COULD have been 16s if I got boosts (Nat saw me on all of them).

Do everything as normal until you get to the area with the double-doors. Instead of going into the first one, open it and shoot a couple times, then as you're heading for the second double doors, shoot a couple more times along the walkway (once or twice into the floor, the rest into the wall - use up the rest of your ammo). This will make the guard on the other side of that second door (The ones at the top of the stairs) open it so that you can make a clean entrance.
From here, head straight to Nat's threesome room and open it, hoping she sees you. Backtrack back to the doors and down the stairs. Depending on what you did with the cinema this door will either be open or closed. pwn through it and head on. Again with the next doors, depending on how you timed the cinema the first one will be open and a guard stuck behind it. pwn through the second one and run to meet Mishkin. The rest is standard strat. The most guards I've had after me at this point is ~3. Just keep Mishkin between the safe and the door until he asks you the question.
If you've missed Nat abort in front of Mishkin and check the time. If it's :24 that's good (22). I've gotten :23(21) but I don't think it was legit.

Skip all the cinema and start as normal, but take the slappers only route. At the top of the first stairs, fire three bullets into the wall infront of you and then the rest into the KF7 guard around the corner. Grab it. By this time the Klobb guard should have opened the door for you so cruise right past him and into the first double-doors. As you're weaving around all the bookshelves fire two to four bullets in front of you in hopes that the guard will open the next double-doors for you. All going well, jump down the stairs. This door might or might not be open, so stay aware. Same thing with the next set of doors too.
With this strat I constantly get :24 and sometimes :23 Mishkins when I miss Nat, however the number of guards that come after you is hell. Good luck.
And of course as I said this strat is generally wild so try a couple times before you get a good one. That first Klobb guard is a bitch.

Skipping all the cinema makes the three shots effective, because it gains the attention of the Klobb guard you see in the cinema (the one where you see the double doors).
Waiting the entire cinema doesn't always get his attention, but you get the doors at the bottom floor open (At least in my experiences).

I should have had Archives SA 0:56 over TWENTY TIMES ALREADY.
My controller is FU<KED. I can no longer turn to the right as fast as you're supposed to with a new controller. And I need that in this level more than anything (for the first room leave and the way I take the stairs going down).
Btw, there was this one run that was TOTALLY INSANE, and then there was like three guards at the end that I didn't have time to kill. I CLEARLY wasted two whole seconds stumbling around the safe getting backed EVERYWHERE and then the glass trying to shoot through it with that dinky faggot Dostovei and what was my time? :57. @#%$. PAL 56's requires a good run, closed double doors and you're screwed. 56's are not like incredibly difficult but still, You need a clean and smooth run.
NTSC 56's doesn't require anything special. Closed double doors, no boosts, crap strafing etc doesn't mean you can't get 56 on the run.During my two sessions today on ntsc, I got nearly every run failed 56, rest 57's, only one 58.
So yeah, 55's on PAL wont ever happen.
Btw Mouser, nice job getting a 55 fail so soon after 56's. I was kinda suprised to see that. Be sure to capture it.

Sometimes I play a level before I jump in for attempts and I don't record. And sometimes cool or amazing stuff happens, 55 fail being one of them. For sure I'll fail a couple :55s when I go to Al's, so nothing to worry about.

But now that you gimme that I'll bet I did get a second boost, either going down the stairs (double-doors guard) or going into the first door on the lower floor. I really don't remember anymore cuz I've played so much of this level. You're making me regret not recording this run.
Keep in mind this is before my controller got all screwy, when I could 0wn around corners and down the stairs with it so I know at least for sure I had the tightest possible turn around that rail part (in right-strafe for sure).
Still, Nat didn't see me.

Excluding these 2, i had 2 other runs which easily would've been 55's. However, on the first run, A guard outside Mishkins room pulls a nade and blows me to hell, On the second run i dont get any KF7 and i only have 3 ammo for the DD4

By the way, this is probably a stupid question, but I'm really wondering this, so I ask:
In frigate 00, why isn't the same strat than in SA used? Can't the hostages be escaped in time? Plus, isn't it possible that the 5 hostages without the engine room one all escape in time?
In that case, the WR could be something like 1'05, but I acknowledge that if it's true, it must happen something like as often as for 23 in agent...

The SA strat does not give enough time for the engine room hostage to get out. He would need to be saved eariler in the run, like on 00.

edit: Control is really kicking my ass right now. I get good runs, But the times i get are like 4:09 or something that shouldn't require a good run at all. And Natalya is behaving like a bitch more as usual and hasn't completed obj A a single time during the last 1h 30 minutes i played. So if i ever get a sub 4:06 the chances of completing would be minimum. In other words, How the hell am i supposed to pr on this @#%$ up level???

anyway if you use the WR strat then you should pick up a keycard when you go down to blow some computers (obj B area) coz if you don't pick up that key card then you can't complete obj C trough the door. That big slide door has to start to open before you can shoot trought it and you need the keycard for that.

First 1:30 fail had a 28 ending(wasn't really focused since it was a fail), Which means it could've been a 1:28.
Second 1:30 had low 29 ending, 1:29 speed there.
Last 1:30 had normal ending.
Also, The 1:28 fail had good locks but i struggled with a guard for like eternity and had no chance to complete the run.

One of my gayest fails ever. For the first time since 2:01 i actually completed the locks and finished the level. Too bad Natalya was uber slow today and i finished the level like .01 too fast(fade at 5.14). I didn't realize this run was good until i saw 1:56 pop up
Also had another 1:56 fail where Natalya died and i completed the locks.

No real reason to post this. Just the run felt good and 3/4 hos escaped. (last guy was gay) Fun run. I like Frigate SA. I felt like they'd escape though. Oh well, I had a good time playing it. I guess I'll go back and play it or something. 103 would be fun to get. Kind of a cool WR and all. 102 seems pretty good, like where a WR should be at. Anything lower is pretty cool. 103's OK, but I guess I can get it and stuff.
