first of all, rom hacks have nothing to do with cheating.  you should be happy he placed it in the right forum, instead of just bashing him.  second, the fact that gerulz is 14 does not surprise me.  and third, to answer the question at hand, i didn't honestly think there were much n64 hacks going on at all.  i saw a ge one that was just a patch that lets you go farther in the facility vents, but nothing major like the stuff they do on snes.  

edit:  have you heard of acmlm's board?  it's a great place for rom hacks and information on them.  Here it is. (http://board.acmlm.org/)  at the moment they are down, but they'll be up in a week.  at the moment you can take a look through their archive though.
