Title: GE with xbox controller
Post by: ishii255 on November 09, 2005, 10:51:00 pm
so i downloaded a rom and emulator for goldeneye and n64 respectively, and spiced an xbox controller to my pc.
now i can play a super-sharp, lagless version of GE or PD on my pc with my halo-style xbox controller.
i suggest each of you to try it, at least just for kicks.
if i can find an emulator that supports online play that would be nice.

(its fun to play the japanese versions)

man what a radical concept.  i have played with a snes controller.  i don't think many people here have xbox controllers though, my roommate has played ge with it before, but neither of us have a 'lagless' ge.

It may be lagless GE, but is it FAGless? No, because you're playing it!

On a nicer note, I've been told that PJ64 works online. Tell us if it works.

on the lagless note: this can be attributed to my 1 gig of ddr ram, i think that is the feed the emulator is using.

on the online note: SWEET.

i opened pj64 and it said that it was capable of multiple instances of the program running at once.  I think this means that you can play it on a network, mayb online but not sure.

wow can people stop asking about the online @#%$, i've posted about that like ten times on the board already.  you can play online with project 64 k, i've done it before and it's neat.  if you want a longer post it's in general under a topic titled 'online multiplayer'.
