Title: Aspect Ratio (NTSC)

This was a problem for Runway SA, but one i surmounted fast,  it didnt seem to cause too much trouble.  But Streets?  f**k.  The aspect ratio is stretched upwards (so guys are skinnier, and Valentin looks only slightly overweight :b  ).  The turns are really hard to get used to, and i persistently get stuck on things.  Grrr...

Any other Euro/Aus  NTSC migrants find that the aspect ratio is different, and sucks?  or is it just my crappy TV?

EDIT:  I can put it on widescreen, but that overcompensates, giving a morbidly obese Val.  I have no way of fine-tuning the ratios (i dint think), though some TVs must allow.

You try playing with the options under the pause menu for ge? I played with 16:9 on all my depot prs.

well I can feel the different versions also play differently, try and place a dot for the one, it won't be in the right place for the other, stuff like that. I can easily switch between the 2 though.

Brandon.....it was in 16:9 mode (which i just changed now).  The guy i bought it off obviously had bad taste :rollin  

in conclusion....i have 23 runway SA as a 16:9 untied (maybe) ;)

Good thing i like 16:9 for depot or you would still be stumped.;)

Does anyone use widescreen mode when playing on certain levels? I used to have it on when playing Control, meant i could see which side the enemy was coming in the control room. Also, does it make any speed difference when using a set mode? Like having letterbox and 16:9 ratio?

I use 16:9 and widescreen for every single one of my PRs.  I like it better.  So Harv, you don'y have runway SA 23 16:9 untied. :p

I don't think it makes any speed difference, just a difference of how people like seeing things.  Its all in the mind!!!0]
