I can't seem to get past 00:56 on Dam (that's the one I'm trying right now) on Agent difficulty. I will try and improve this time.

Don't worry, Dam is one weird level. I've done runs which i thought were brilliant and ended up with 56.

Good to see you're back Kori. I am sure you are able to get 0:55 with some decent gates and a smooth lock-shot. You will eventually end up with a 0:54, which gives some nice points!

I got 00:55 three times. I am working on 00:54 but the lock shot is hard...

Ive had 0:55 about 40 times and I know I'll eventually hit 0:54

The most critical thing for me to get a 0:54 would have to be a nice brown gate after pressing the green button and a smooth lock shot(opening and exiting as smoothly as possible). Then comes 0:53

My lock-shooting strategy is mainly just along the way if I'm on a the line of a guard just shoot him to get his KF7 and shoot the lock with that. But it probably overall slows down my times so I'd better practice with the PP7.

For any realistic hope of 54, you want to be doing the lockshot with the PP7 in full strafe. Don't bother practising anything else, just attempt this straight away (watch vids if you want hints on how to do it etc). If you're PAL, be prepared to put in a bit more work (I reckon it requires a slightly better run). I got 24 55s before i got 54, and some people have gone over 50 55s. Good luck

it was a messed up lock shot (1 burst)
