I was talking also about that my multiplayer skills might have become worse since I started to play for times on single player. At least before I usually ended up winning most times but now it was Dantte. Dantte and Miikka have played multiplayer on both GE and PD about as much as me so they are very good competition.
Though today we played GE instead, LTK, pistols and decided to record two 20 min games and this time I ended up as the winner on both.
Facility: Dantte 22, Illu 34, Miikka 22
Stack: Dantte 37, Illu 41, Miikka 35
Dantte was gaining on me alot on Stack at the end and seemed just to get the hang of it. I'll give him a chanse for revenge some day soon probably as he gave me on PD, he won on PD again back then. So let's see what happens, dunno if this is any interesting topic but I just decided to make it since we're gonna make vids of these and stuff. So like yeah, a multiplayer topic yeah.

Illu, if you make vids, consider making some that are just highlights of isolated kills or something...

Watching a whole vid showing both the best and the worst of the players's skills seems more interesting to me.
If you make whole videos of those games Illu, be sure there'll be only one person to download and watch those vids.

But yeah, multi is where I would excel over most eliters I'd think, if not rank 1st by a little margin over Karl. I have all around great accuracy, precise reactions, and overall great strafing ability in cinema mode. (it's getting better than even single player full screen, may switch in the future)
I'm good at everything but Knives, but by no means do I suck. I just think my skills at everything else are way above average as compared to knives where I'm meh. I'm superb with a Grenade Launcher, sneaky with mines, and of course, pwnage with Pistols.
Would anyone here host my multi vids? Most of them are fun to watch, only a few are super competitive anyway. The ones that are 10-0 have some sweet kills usually. Most new vids I ONLY use a magnum against my friend, and the vids show I'm better with a Magnum than with a normal pistol

To Wabs, I agree isolated kills don't tell much of a story, but to prudent viewers like us, it's not hard to tell when a kill just looks cool or if it's actually skillful. Problem with lengthy multi vids is that you really need to watch them twice (if it's 2P) to get the whole story. And few matchups are worth it. I don't care about everyone's RL friends that are "pretty decent".
Lastly, a fuzzy memory:
Playing proxies on Facility with Paragon, no time limit... he memorized the spawns, so basically I died like 40 times in a row as he cycled through the spawn point sequence, planting mines. He eventually killed himself (and, consequently, suicided about 10 more times in the next minute and a half...)

I've heard that the respawns aren't really random and that it's just a very long list. Does anyone know anything about this?

Either I've started to suck at multi or Danttes just that much better now, on this second game I could have gotten a tie at least. At the end both me and Dantte were down in the basement running around randomly looking for each other with just a few seconds left of the game. We found each other just when the game ended but it was Dantte who got the last kill

I've even managed double kills on one shot (done that like twice at least) and that was normal mode, so it was trough two heads with the cougar magnum. Too bad it was several years ago and I wasn't recording anything back then, I was the winner usually back then.
Actually should probably have made those 10min games, more suited time limit when making vids.

When I was 15, and I wasn't allowed to get out, I have played for GE multi with 3 friends like every Saturday evening. And that for about 1,5 years long. When I think about those days, it still makes me smile. A few bags of chips, a few bottles of Coca Cola, a N64 with GoldenEye plugged in and us gathered around the telly. The ideal ingredients for incredible excitement the whole evening/night. GoldenEye was groundbreaking and breathtaking during that period in the console world.
Wait, correction, it still is groundbreaking and breathtaking!
