Title: broken bond.....

It all started when i was at the last boss in metroid prime 2 on hard mode.  Vs dark samus 3/4 with one hit to kill and only 12 secs remaning to beat her.  she kills me and i start to get the game rage. i get to her about 3 more times then i lose it completely.  I whip my wavebird at the consule and then the up and down on the joystick doesnt work so i broke a controller :x   . The next day poped in GE and started playing had some good runs then @#%$ them up somehow and still in game rage from the other night i get up an give bond a swift kick to the head.  hearing a sound i hoped was not true.  I kneeled down and it was true.  I broke the game :(    I feel like a complete jackass. All the work i put into the game is now gone.  I got another game quickly and nothing seems right now.  Beating all the levels over again sucks major ass.  When i play the levels and do not see any times there i feel like everything i put into the game doesnt matter and it is so hard to get back.  Certain times i'll never see again.... *sigh*.  I know my times are on the internet, but something just doesnt feel right. Im still trying for times but it is so HARD!  So dont break you cartarge cause it @#%$ sucks!:x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x  :x   Why the @#%$ couldnt he be more durable!

yeah that cartridge is @#%$ up indeed, not  as bad as my f-zero cartridge, but at least my f-zero works (doesn't save times though).  i witnessed the metroid stuff first hand though, matis took it outside, got out a baseball bat and a golf club, and let me join in the fun.  we really went to town on that poor wavebird, i'd be hard-pressed to find a piece larger than a quarter remaining.  yay for game rage!

Thats what tapeing is for;) , so you can relive your best stuff, if you ever happen to kick bonds ass, or have a freak cartiridge memory lose, or just get sick of it and sell it.:p

That sucks, But meh, It's the life in GE. What you should do though is to use the game rage on something else than the game.

yeah it still sucks, but im getting better, just got to beat 3 more levels.  I think the depression of what really happen is going away thank god. i still cant believe i broke it though :rolleyes   I wanted to see the problem internaly so i pulled the game apart.  There were these rivets in the back that made it hard as hell to get apart.  So when finally got it open i unscrewd the circuit board to find a huge as crack across it:eek  Bond sure got his ass whooped.
I dont know if taping would helped brandon,  i would probably get pissed off watching the run. knowing how frustrating some runs can be.  Then i'd look at the broken game and proabably break down and cry.  plus i dont believe in taping.   unless i get a WR or something close. :p

So I was just wondering what are something things you all done to good ol' james.  If you have,,,  i know greg has had his time with him :lol
