Many months ago, I had the idea of making The Elite Directory. Simply put, it would be a directory of profiles for everyone in The Elite. I never got around to making it, and thought it was dead and buried forever.
However, for some reasons that are unknown to me, I've decided to resurrect the idea. For now, the current version of The Elite Directory (TED for short) can be found here (http://the-elite-directory.netfirms.com).
It doesn't look very fancy yet, but the point is, its there. Here (http://the-elite-directory.netfirms.com/profiles/neo.html) is an example of a profile (mine), and a profile template can be found here (http://the-elite-directory.netfirms.com/profiles/template.html).
Anyway, down to business. It is now up to YOU to start making profiles. It looks plain now, but if you get to work, it shouldn't be long before the site gets better. You can do one of three things:
1) Create your own, custom profile, and I can either link to it or host it.
2) You can use the template to make your profile, then send it to me (with optional picture).
3) You can simply post the needed information here, and I can make the site for you. The first two options are preferable, but I don't mind doing this one.
I realise that Netfirms isn't the best choice of host, but it will do for now until I can find a better host. I really wanted to get this done ASAP so that people could start making profiles.
Some of you may be a little reluctant to this idea, and yeah, I suppose its understandable. But I would still love if every single one of you (no matter who you are, I want EVERYONE) would do this. It may turn out to be another crappy idea of mine that doesn't go anywhere, but it may not. The only way to find out is to start posting profiles.
Edit: No idea what happened, but it's suddenly stopped working for some people. For now, you can find it here (http://detergent.free.fr/directory.html).
Get cracking on those profiles as soon as the opportunity arises!!
