I seem to be the first to have arrived home after this awesome weekend, so I decided to create the topic to get the ball rolling.
Please, feel free to post all pictures/videos/comments/favorite moments/reflections/etc. pertaining to the meeting here.
I will get my thoughts in later (going to upload pictures this evening.
I hope this thread will serve to motivate many more of you to come next year:)
Some stats records for our American meetings:
-4 Countries represented
-6 or 7 American states (can't remember which right off)
-2 genders (yes, there was a real girl!)
-
Some great moments that I was going over with shade (so many to remember):
-"Fort Bumpass" (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mariokart64.com%2Fyabbfiles%2FTemplates%2FForum%2Fdefault%2Fcool.gif&hash=d3458a71a912b5501d57edd5df0b4b3a0d469861)

-Matis and Sterling walking through the door, surprising people
-Same with Shade and company (although it didn't surprise me!)
-Patrik forgetting how to speak Swedish after a week of all english
-Matis and Trent doing flips off the top of the boathouse docks.
-The Weathertons coming out while they were doing it... we thought they were busted, but they just sat down and watched and laughed with us. lol
-Pretty much anything PY Lemire did, he was our mime/comedian
-Ditto for Clark, he has a very understated sense of humor.
-Jimbo spending 3-4 hours on Archives)
-Sterling (who looks totally not like a gamer) spending about 9-10 hours total trying shortcuts on kart64, and all the yelling/cursing that went with it)
-Same with Liz, Wonn, and Andrew Weatherton (although not so much cursing from them)
-Mark Jones spending 2 hours trying for the spiral and almost hitting it.
-The neo slam from NGamer during the GNC
-The football game.. the whole thing was all sorts of epic (and hilarious). Lots of tree shots and elbows to the face
-QB, Jimbo and I playing Jungle pong.
-
- Jimbo saying "I don't recognize you" with a (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fembarassed.gif&hash=5641b47ebaa060c9559e379ec4d9f9bfb35dd661) face

Greg and I just got back! Funny how we left at 2:30 and got back at 1 by flying and driving would've been faster. Even more so true for the way there cuz of waiting for Adam and Sterling!
Anyways the meet was great and easily better than last year. I think we got to do a lot more stuff and a lot of the people knew each other from last year so that was cool but also great meeting the new people especially the Euros.
The GE tournament was great and I was very happy to redeem myself from last year's disaster. Can't believe I was close to taking down Jimbo in the elite 8! Maybe next year (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f) I didn't place that great in kart (7th) but I only lost 9-7 to JT in the playoffs and he was the 2nd best there. And right before we left today Jimbo FINALLY accepted my challenge to play 1vs1 kart and I beat him 9-7, proving his 3rd place kart finish was a fluke! (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ftongue.gif&hash=7cfc888ebd66cf455a55fd5e124ee8267da91148) On a less anti-Jimbo note, it was awesome to see him get Archives 16.
I also jumped off the roof into the lake!
Thanks to Wonn for driving Greg and I back to the airport, and for the good Brawl matches every night of the meet. Wonn, Greg, Adam, and me played that every night, with me ending up half asleep near the end of those sessions and Adam and Greg teaming up against me as always lol but great times.
I'll write more later...very tired and gonna go pass out on Greg's couch now.
-
I am feeling the lack of sleep today, had to get up at 5:45 for work, after about 20 hours over the last 5 days before last night.
I'll write more and post my pictures later this evening!
-
Just got home! took 22 hours from Drew's house with the stop at QB's place and I had to slept twice after going on those bumps a few times.
That was my first meet and it was great. I wasn't sure if I wanted to go at first since I didn't know much of the other guys except from chat a bit. But I'm glad you bothered me all the time now Nathan (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ftongue.gif&hash=7cfc888ebd66cf455a55fd5e124ee8267da91148).
you forgot the David Wonn's "Jimbo you're fat" quote (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Flaugh.gif&hash=657f1346088ce2081c398c7379c3a47e4cf5861b).
Other highlight for me:
The kart session at night with Josh JT and Liz which was so freaking close all the time
Liz getting all those river card wins. I remember 2-3 on me, 3 on Jones and I'm sure a couple more!
Jimbo winning the MP3 by getting 4 stars in like 3 turns.
Illu's headshot through the glass in facility on jimbo.
The like 3 or 4 double kill that happened in one of the Illu and jimbo match I think.
Me getting lost to go to QB's house
Me getting lost while leaving from QB's house (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fmad.gif&hash=a7d299cdc47984306fa32671e3a59bcf63c85b4c)
I also had fun watching pretty much anything that was played. Patrik was great at Stepmania. I liked to look at Jimbo going at the Archive WR.
And it was fun seeing Sterlin getting pissed about the Shortcut since it did remember me what it could be sometimes!
As far as the elite goes I didn't really know anyone other then some from the chat a bit. I never had talked to Jimbo before and he's such an amazing guy. I had a lot of fun with him just watching him play since he's pretty good at most of the games he did well in MK64, in GE in arm wrestling (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e) and in getting that archive A 0:16.
I didn't talk that much to Trent, Ngamer, Woll, Matis or Lovins but I did watch their match and Trent is good at GE for sure.Lovins actualy did very good on MK64 and probably could have done better since him vs Jimbo was a pretty tight matchup that could go either way. And well Ngamer is awesome at landing in a funny way at long jumping (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f) he did pretty well and better then what everyone predicted in that event. Woll did some awesome GE match and he looked quite good at SSB Brawl (even though I don't know much about that game). As for Matis he looked like a funny guy and he made me laugh a lot. I liked the way he kept saying awesome (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ftongue.gif&hash=7cfc888ebd66cf455a55fd5e124ee8267da91148) and the weird flip and tricks in the lake. He's quite muscular too (he lifted Jones on his shoulder (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Feek.gif&hash=5fc5b032ffecc0869b61bad31bcee959c46eea9d)!
Then QB well I got to his place late because I got lost which made him rather tired because of the olympic schedule and we had our fair share of happening during our car trip (be it with the GPS not stickin gor saying to turn left like 4 time in a row or other things) I didn't really talk to him a lot during the meet though since I was mainly playing kart or watching jimbo playing archive. From that tape he looked very decent at sports though and he didn't do too bad at ping pong either.
Then the Sweden guys were quite interesting to watch I talked to them a bit illu on the boat while we were trying to do some wakeboarding. And Patrick is a funny guy that stayed around looking at us fail our kart runs also trying to say things in french which sounded funny to Quentin and me. They sure did show their talent in their matchup and in the final matches with crazy shots while they both won. You better keep that "certificate" Patrick!
I didn't talk all that much with Quentin either but he was usualy joking around and saying fun stuff or making fun of my french canadian accent (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fhappy.gif&hash=7b9cd982f9a41f9aefcd7ea74682d5f1e4caf4c6). I really hope you Euros will come back next year!
There is also Jim with whom I spent quite a big lap of time just looking at him failing those run with plenty of failed sixteen because of the "stupid bitch" or "stupid cunt" (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ftongue.gif&hash=7cfc888ebd66cf455a55fd5e124ee8267da91148). He's always joking around and ready to laugh. I do hope I can meet him up next year too. This time he'll probably go for that bunker WR (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f). Nice meeting you Jim!
As for Shade he sucks he came for just a few hours! Boooo! You need to do better then that next year. (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ftongue.gif&hash=7cfc888ebd66cf455a55fd5e124ee8267da91148)
I'd have to talk to the elite more and hopefully I could be in the GE tournament next year since I don't think I'm all that bad even if not at all top 8 material... for now (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f)

Easy on those GNC and GE spoilers, Pier! The videos aren't released online yet!
Glad you got home safe! (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e)
-
how could I forget...
-The Food. 'nuff said.
-Watching Clark trying to help us set up the fort. He bent over, pulling on the couch, we all heard a wood cracking sound, and he ended up on his backside on the floor. It was around 4-5am, so that only amplified the humor:-p
-
Alright guys all my pictures are uploaded (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e) there are some spoilers, having to know who the victors for GE/MK/Ping Pong and stuff like that. Hope you enjoy all 262 of them cause it took me forever!!!! (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Feek.gif&hash=5fc5b032ffecc0869b61bad31bcee959c46eea9d) I'll do my wrap up later still but for now have fun!!!

I suppose I'll have a go at this (tries not to spoil things)
*wondering if PYL and QB made the quietest two person car ride in the history of time*
PYL always has a grin on his face. I'll never get that many smiles in my entire lifetime. He'll just walk in smile at something, repeat this for the entire meet (lol at that post btw I don't know if he even said that much the entire four days!). I wonder what's going on in that head up there!
Most of the time with QB based on chat I can see him do a facial expression and pretty much know what he would've said in chat from that. In other words--I've spent too much time in chat.
I realized later about how badly I played in the poker tourn but obviously I was just goofing around; pretty fun though to see Liz catch quite a bunch of rivers and ended up winning the thing (over jimbo who shoved 63o into her 99 HU on the final hand lol). Patrik snorting immediately upon receiving one hand was pretty hilarious too. A few tells I did btw I don't even know why I did them. Probably been too long since I've played live.
I only got 9th in kart cause I got royally screwed (we only had 3 matches before the final 8 and I had a ridic draw leading up to it--I didn't think I cared about the tournament but watching a few people that I know I'm better than finish ahead did suck [with at least one ending up in the final four--very irritating to watch that--esp when he noobed pretty much every track in the final]) That said, I had no chance to win anyway and I liked not having to play extra matches because I was already bored of the tourney. If we don't add another top notch karter I wouldn't mind just scrapping the thing.
I thought I would at least compete a little better in the GE tournament but in GE if you're massively better than your opponent there's a 0% chance of even getting like 5 kills. I believe this spoiler won't kill people.
The Sterling vs Ngamer GE match was one of the most epic matches in GE history. Ngamer blew a 9-6 lead in the third game to make it 9-9 and then....
Now I know why Shade's a freaking ladies man.
Sorry SA, I know I talk really fast (I'm just wired that way in my head) but I can't help it--which was why our conversations got a bit choppy. (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ffrown.gif&hash=9bb8520656650a7c2457ae0ae2ee8996e4109fd6)
(having no idea on some of the earlier stuff posted--even when you're there you're going to miss something)
The meet really was about the perfect amount of time; some of you were starting to annoy the heck out of me on saturday and we were all dead on sunday anyway.
Obviously a big highlight for me was beating the Jimbo/Sterling/Lovins combo 20-13-13-13 on stack. I have to admit I was excited there. (and still probably didn't crack any smile lol) The looks on your faces though (especially sterling's) was picture worthy! I had a really bad middle stretch too in that game but somehow at the end kept one shot killing people. It's a fluke but I'll take it.
Ngamer needs to play more--the only thing I missed doing that I had wanted to was getting him in some GE match but outside of the tournaments he never grabs a controller.
Playing a few top GE guys 1 v 1 was pretty cool too despite obviously getting completely pwned. I'll have to work on this so I just lose really badly next year.
Watching Jimbo fail 5 of his 6 archives 16's (and blowing two others on the window)--of course when I leave he gets it. I obviously am his bad luck charm.
Matis taking a picture of me and then me realizing how I'm sitting and I was thinking how the fuck was I sitting like that?
Also he didn't recognize me at first causing me to laugh inside. I find his "awesomes" just in completely weird spots.
Two meets and I've still somehow found a way not to have a conversation with Woll about anything. I'm not sure we were even in the same room for more than 30 minutes [the finals of the tournaments] the whole meet.
Somehow Fried got into almost every kart discussion the first two days. That guy just is into everything kart related (his match too during that time also was brought up) so we really couldn't help it.
Another issue we could potentially have next year is if we have more people it will be impossible to organize these types of tournaments because it was pretty tough this year--I don't think with any more that we will even get anything done.
I'm sure I forgot a ton (and can't spoil anything else so...)

Omg Adam! Awesome pics!

I think those pictures were awesome!

I have alot of thoughts and cool moments, but I'll post them tomorrow- trying to get some of the GE vids going right now.

PYL made another long post with different things over at the kart forum topic

Well I don't want to take the time to individually link every single picture here, but I will definitely link you guys to a Facebook album I made with 49 quality pictures uploaded! http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=66011&id=503916270&saved#/album.php?page=1&aid=66011&id=503916270
Now, lets get to some thoughts!
-The trip there was incredibly time consuming and frustrating. Nothing irritates me more than having to stop for absolutely no good reason whatsoever. When you get closer to the east coast, you realize that people's merging-incompetency really costs people time and happiness. We were 20 damn miles away from the Lake House when we hit a traffic jam and went 5 miles in 55 minutes.
-Walking into the house seemed like walking home, it felt so welcoming. The awesome response to losing weight really flattered me (in a non gay and non egotistical way, I appreciate it guys). Knowing guys like Illu and Patrik and SilverAngel were there really made the anticipation hard to handle!
-PYLemire is the funniest SOB I have ever met, bar none. His mime-like gestures made going for 0:16 so much more enjoyable. He's a good guy, just wish he would have spoken a wee bit louder!
-Patrik learned American slang quickly and was great to listen to. I never really played him in GE 1 vs 1, oh well. Holy FUCK on Stepmania, etc.
-I kind of thought it would be weird meeting Mark Jones knowing the history I had with him when I was like 14, but he was definitely one of the coolest people I had met in my life. One of those guys you could easily befriend in real life.
-Everyone had high expectations and I think this meet still exceeded it, which means this is probably a sure-thing in 2009!
-I cannot wakeboard, had a ton of fun swimming, and as a result became more sunburned than at any other time in my life.
-Wheat looks normal without that hobo beard.
-Meeting Elizabeth was a great thing because it proves that there ARE cute girls who can lay down better times at MK64 than me out there somewhere....
-The crowd that watched me play Archives, I was really afraid I'd let them down but I certainly didn't! Glad I got it (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fhappy.gif&hash=7b9cd982f9a41f9aefcd7ea74682d5f1e4caf4c6)
-Shade! Holy crap dude sorry about being a stupid fuck and not recognizing you (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ffrown.gif&hash=9bb8520656650a7c2457ae0ae2ee8996e4109fd6)
-David Wonn almost broke his own DK Arcade record, but lost most of his lives in the beginning. I spent a lot of time talking with David and really wish he could stumble upon some fortune and meet a girl who could really like him, he seems lonely (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ffrown.gif&hash=9bb8520656650a7c2457ae0ae2ee8996e4109fd6)
-I was actually able to swim across half the lake, thank GOD QB stumbled upon a shallow spot pretty far away from the dock for me to catch my breath or who knows what would have happened, my arms were jello for days after that.
-Oh, and we all managed to get a picture of Ngamer being worshipped.
There are so many other things I could talk about but others have summed it up nicely. Andrew lives in a nice house and I already am looking forward to 2009. Post more pics guys! (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fhappy.gif&hash=7b9cd982f9a41f9aefcd7ea74682d5f1e4caf4c6)

Mark Jones, who was our token fat guy on the dock this year, agreed to let Adam Matis fireman-carry him into the water:
(https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi121.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fo208%2Fgoldenjimbo007%2FFiremanCarry.jpg&hash=8a460c2625156691f186b98d9eea918dd26eb997)
After losing a frisbee on the roof, Adam used me to get up there and wanted to jump off; Trent joined him shortly after. The water was really shallow...

Adam tackled me the second I jumped off the dock, I remember this stinging the nostrils a lot (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ffrown.gif&hash=9bb8520656650a7c2457ae0ae2ee8996e4109fd6)

This is the 2008 GNC cover-picture, in my opinion it's QB's best of the meet!

Me with the-elite.net creator Derek Clark, great-down-to-earth guy (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fhappy.gif&hash=7b9cd982f9a41f9aefcd7ea74682d5f1e4caf4c6) Even better the 2nd time around:
(https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi121.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fo208%2Fgoldenjimbo007%2FDerekJimbo.jpg&hash=c4ee10367b46a085c8acccf5e6244e3471f897d5)
Sterling reveals to us that he is God by showing us he can walk on water, we all watched in amazement:

I'm slightly miffed that 2 of Shade's friends, who have no association with the elite, were in this picture; but regardless here's the entire-deck picture we wanted!

The rest of my pictures are on Facebook in some way or another. Jimbo out!

Well again another great year. Definatley gets better every year which is cool. It was nice to meet all the new faces and hopefully to get caught up with everyone again next year. The food was awesome and I cant see how any Euros would disapprove. Hopefully next year the tournaments are put together better but I can see how it would be tough because of how people eat sleep and everything else (boating karting and ge etc) at different times.
The ride there and back with adam was cool. Just reminising on how long the ride was with clark as well...but we cruised and made good time caught up with things and how his life is down here in florida now. He is a great artist and hopefully got to share some of his portraits with people there. I sure hope one day we could all make a great game and produce it. Everyone has the talent to pitch in on something regarding that. We listened to some good music on the way up and back and made some cool pictures on the way which ya'll see on his matis page. www.myspace.com/matabird.
Thanks again adam and we'll be in touch here bud. Cant wait for next year. It almost felt like we had never left the weathertons but so much has gone by especially with andrew now married. Congrats again! His parents were nice and welcoming like usual its always nice to see warming people. Thanks again! It sucked to leave the house because it felt like we just got there but it was overwelming like usual.
I'm at work now but will :muse: more later about everyone and jam everyone up hardcore. Rock out!
Sterling

Yeah I heard that countless time. I don't talk enough and/or not loud enough.
I never have and I guess I never will (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e).
By the way jumbo, does SOB stand for son of a bitch?
As for me I would have stayed for way longer and I wasn't tired of anyone over there. In fact I found I couldn't talk to everyone enough like Derek and pretty much all of the Elite and some karters too(yeah I don't talk much but I did talk to some! (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f)).

Trent needs to put a shirt on... (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsick.gif&hash=147d83ab69333060437ede2e0058676600b3ea8c)

NGamer is the one who rarely wore a shirt!
Liz's post:
Ok, I guess it's time for me to write my review. This was my first meet ever, and I was so pleasantly surprised by how freaking awesome it was. Josh and JT had told me a little of what to expect, but I still wasn't completely sure until I actually got there. Everyone was so nice and so funny, and being the only girl around 22 guys, I actually felt completely welcome and comfortable.
It's hard to explain all the great memories that were made in such a short amount of time. I really enjoyed talking to the guys from Europe, although I didn't talk to Illu quite as much as Patrick and Quentin. Playing GHII with Patrick was really fun, even though I've played for hours and I'm still on medium, and he's played very few times and basically started on expert!
Swimming in the lake was fun.. Adam and Trent jumping off of the roof of the dock scared the bejesus out of me, but was still fun to watch and judge on a scale of 1-10 (we were harsh judges!). I only went on the boat once, but got to witness Patrick standing on his first try ever skiing, which was quite impressive. All those boys were very good at tubing/wakeboarding/skiing.
And kart, the whole reason I was there! Our first practice match with Josh, JT and PY was awesome.. I was glad I was able to keep up with them even though I still got last (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mariokart64.com%2Fyabbfiles%2FTemplates%2FForum%2Fdefault%2Fwink.gif&hash=a07e7ca1caac5a16d3de66178bcbf071dd9fca97) I had so much fun playing in and watching the kart tournament rounds, and even more fun time trialing for 3 hours with Sterling, trying to get SC times, which I have never tried before the meet.
Josh told me on the way up that even if I never liked GE before, I would get sucked into it at the meet, and he was actually somewhat right. Watching Jimbo play archives and get sixteeeeen was one of my favorite memories. I have a hard time following multi player, but even then the GE finals were quite entertaining.
Sooo, some of my highlights would be:
-Watching Patrick blow everyone away with his stepmania playing.
-Late night talks with Josh, JT, Derek, and Eric when he was with us (Clark telling us riddles, and our verb that we made up (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mariokart64.com%2Fyabbfiles%2FTemplates%2FForum%2Fdefault%2Fsmiley.gif&hash=c8ad18d6eb5d923ef17b30e8929d026fa8183a14) ).
-Playing ping pong.. Eric helped me practiced up so I was able to at least take down Jimbo (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.mariokart64.com%2Fyabbfiles%2FTemplates%2FForum%2Fdefault%2Fwink.gif&hash=a07e7ca1caac5a16d3de66178bcbf071dd9fca97)
And me and Josh vs JT trying to hit two ping pong balls at once, and JT doing very well!
-The poker tournament where I somehow was able to survive against a table of very good poker players, and sitting next to PY was the best!
-Watching Jimbo get 16, I was really happy for him
-Learning the RRy shortcut from Sterling and Jones and trying for 3 hrs to get the poomps!
There was just so much.. I really loved meeting all the guys there, and the Weathertons were amazing hosts, so generous! I am so glad I got to be a part of such a wonderful experience, and I miss everyone so much already!
-
Been busy since I got back, but I'll weigh in. To re-quote:
"Fort Bumpass" -> CORRECTION it was the Assbag Hotel. Nonetheless impenetrable.
"Jimbo winning the MP3 by getting 4 stars in like 3 turns." -> total error that I didn't get in on a game of MP3
"Illu's headshot through the glass in facility on jimbo. " -> definitely the "OHHHH" moment of the tourney. magnums can do that.
"As for Matis he looked like a funny guy and he made me laugh a lot." -> lmao. sounds like adam to me.
"Patrik forgetting how to speak Swedish after a week of all english" -> yes, this was hilarious. he was struggling to say things in swedish for us.
Additional highlights:
PY's miming
Mine and Mark's epic ping pong battle, forever notched at 4 games apiece (respect!)
Andrew's face when he successfully shook a phone call from wifey in about 10 seconds (during MK64 tournament spectating)
The return of the word "chode" to casual conversation
Greg shouting "FIRE!" when a darksim emerged after a 2-minute camp on 4-player challenge (#?). With teammate sims, there were 7 of us all hiding in a nook because we didn't know how else to beat it. Funniest moment ever, period.
ALRIGHT STINSON YOU ASKED FOR IT
"Nasty" Nate Stinson - Sorry for being profane and a little too critical. I respect your commitment to a righteous path and your efforts to bring everyone together once again.
PY - I didn't really know who you were, but goddam you were good at making me (and everyone) chuckle unexpectedly.
Jimbo - Thin Jimbo is very good at games, too, turns out. Watching the 16s was actually amusing. Thanks for letting us make fat jokes still. You're pretty good at heart, which I think people are finally admitting.
Patrik - Great guy, glad I met him.. his jokes always snuck up on me. The discussions on culture shock were classic (being deposited in a ghetto that would make 50cent shy). "There weren't many white people there. As we walked the ratio was increasing..." And peanut butter (and other culture discussions)
Illu - Felt like I got a glimpse of his character by the end. His viking yells were at least as terrifying as I hoped.
Usain - lol ur fast, sorry we didnt hang out moar
Jon - father of the elite and underestimated athlete! a classic among classics.
Adam - realizing he's one of my best friends "from the internet". florida meetings afoot.
Greg - pretty lame, i wouldn't hang out with him...
Eddie - started to get to know Eddie a bit this time around. funny to think my first GE rivalry (eddie/me/greg) was with guys I'd easily befriend "irl"
Trent - you're an asshole, but i mean that as a compliment. you've earned my respect through these meets.
Liz - glad you could enter our geek world and thrive. in hindsight i should've gone on to charlotte. that part of richmond was ghetto as fuck. they had to blow dust off the wi-fi access card when i requested it.
Quentin - you definitely out-tubed me. sorry i'm not even close to possessing the ability to say your name correctly.
Mark - he and i became pretty good friends online a while back. i always knew our friendship could make a seamless irl transition, and this proved it. very glad we met, man
Sterling - we didn't cross paths as much this year, did we? next year we'll have to ride up together. or better, have a florida meeting with adam and company. and get drunk this time.
Josh - definitely would be friends with this guy irl. very down-to-earth, chill dude. pretty clever... a jackass in my own image (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f)
Brent - no comment.
QB - don't feel bad for the "tackle", made us both look sweet, really.
Andrew - another guy with whom i really identify. who knew one could be so functional yet gamery at once? kudos on mastering the balance.
Eric - good guy, and very good at ping pong, unfortunately for me. only known visitor to the Assbag Hotel.
Bill - was a stranger at first, but great attitude and good guy - 110% on the gridiron, too...
Wonn - a curious celebrity, but his presence adds a sense of credibility and meaning to everything. i really enjoyed serious talks about smk with him (and the competition)
Shade, Lec, et. al. - stay longer next year and i'll have something.
The sense of community was really strong this year. I was having a hard time shaking stress about work, but it all just makes me look ahead to future meetings. I have a feeling my n64's going to get plugged in soon...
-
I was joking about the profane thing, btw:p
I'm sort of desensitized to it anyways
-
Another thing no one really knows, is that I had our van about 2.5 miles away from being completely empty and having us stranded on I-80. I had about 30 miles left in the tank when I decided to skip on a terrible gas station in Indiana; little did I know Ohio doesn't believe in gas stations and the next one was 33 miles away. I drove 50 MPH behind a huge camper (drafting) the entire time, sweating and scared out of my mind. Such a bad experience, hard to believe we got from %%%+%!+! WI to Western Ohio on one tank though...

All of the pics from Jim's camera have now been uploaded at full quality out on the SRW; give them a look at
http://vameet.speedrunwiki.com/2008/pictures/ (http://vameet.speedrunwiki.com/2008/pictures/)
Also I've put up the videos that were taken with that camera. Pretty wild stuff!
http://vameet.speedrunwik.../videos/FiremansCarry.mov (http://vameet.speedrunwiki.com/2008/videos/FiremansCarry.mov) - Despite being 100lbs lighter, Adam gets Jones into a Fireman's Carry, walks across the dock, and slams him into the water.
http://vameet.speedrunwik.../videos/IlluFullSpeed.mov (http://vameet.speedrunwiki.com/2008/videos/IlluFullSpeed.mov) - Illu with a full speed jump off the end of the dock.
http://vameet.speedrunwik...08/videos/AdamvsJimbo.mpg (http://vameet.speedrunwiki.com/2008/videos/AdamvsJimbo.mpg) - Matis/Jim wrestling match- first to get the other into the water wins.
http://vameet.speedrunwik...08/videos/AdamvsDerek.mov (http://vameet.speedrunwiki.com/2008/videos/AdamvsDerek.mov) - I don't know what this is!

what kind of 64 controller is this?

It's actually a japanese controller, made by Nintendo.

Adam vs Derek was the revenge Matis got after Derek threw a Frisbee at his head, (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Flaugh.gif&hash=657f1346088ce2081c398c7379c3a47e4cf5861b)

Correction: I hit him with a ball from a great distance.

yeah, nascar!

Finally back home! (I actually arrived yesterday, and have mainly slept since). Also, I visited the city of Madrid yesterday as I had more than 8 hours between my two flights, it was quite nice (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e)
First of all, I would like to say that I really enjoyed meeting you all (even Jimbo (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f) ). As you may have noticed, I had sometimes some troubles to understand some of you (Nathan ahead), but even if I didn't catch everthing, I liked just to listen to you speaking in English (or should I say, American); besides, I think that for some of you, I underdstood about everything you said, so...way to go!
Djie:
"- Seeing SA try his luck with Liz"
Wha...?
Sure I really enjoyed talking with Liz, but I mean with just like any of you!
Btw, I would have really liked to talk with you more, that's too bad you had to leave so early. Also, I wanted to speak in English because I just didn't want to do "bande à part"! I talked in English with PYL as well, but it also seemed to me that his accent was less strong than yours. Meeting you and Lec was definitely cool, that's just too bad you didn't stay the whole time.
As for Mario Kart, that was quite impressive to see all of the skills around, especially Josh playing Mario Raceway. And concerning the tournament, I want to let Wabs know that I actually finished 3 times 3rd and 3 times 2nd, yes sir! (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f)
About goldeneye, I would still say that my score against Illu doesn't reflect it all, since I won like one third of the matches we had together before this (like 5 on 15 matches), which I'm quite happy with since I have never played GE mulitplayer really. Now, I would also say that Illu became stronger as the meeting was going on, as if he were gaining back some skills, so I dunno. I'm still impressed of the global GE multi skills.
As for the ping-pong, I hadn't played it for like 10 years or more, what didn't help, but at the end I think I could still find some of my strokes back.
Also, the global rankings don't take into account the poker tournament...big omission! (finished 4th).
Finally, tubbing and water ski was definitely one the best moments I had.
To Derek: thanks, I think you actually did pretty well too! And for my name, don't worry, you were quite all in the same situation (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f) Actually, I didn't think it would be so hard, but that was really fun to see you guys trying to pronounce my name or speak in French... like I wasn't the only one to struggle (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f) (by the way after reflection, I'm not sure how I have to take the fact that Nathan kept calling me "Queen")
highlights moments:
- Derek imitating Natalya being saved in Archives
- Liz winning all her all-in on the river
- Adam and Trent jumping from the roof of the docks
- The goldeneye final between Trent and Patrik. Definitely some great goldeneye multi skills
- All of us watching the GNC video together (with Mrs. Weatherton laughing so much after Jon's first long jump)
some quotes:
- "That was a Jimbo kill" (someone talking about a spawn kill)
- "Mooo...Illuuuuu!!" (everyone)
- "That was pure garbage! All garbage!" (~15 times; Sterling, talking about what seemed to me about the cleanest possible run/lap on Toad's Turnspike, like fifteen times in a row)
- "That was the good answer, awesome!" (Adam)
- "Do you.... like Jimbo?" (Adam, to Illu?)
A big thanks to Andrew and the Weathertons, who made it possible, and to everyone who came!
-
you all came together! SZ would like a video of that!
-
If you'd rather just browse through all this year's photos, I've uploaded them to our Photobucket folder:
http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v625/Ngamer/08vameet/?start=all
Only Jimbo's camera is represented so far- Adam should send me all his pictures so I could put them up as well. And remember, if you'd rather see the pics in full quality, you can do that at vameet.speedrunwiki.com.

My encodings of the 20 minute tour video is ready, but I'm going away for the weekend. I'll upload it on Sunday, aswell as my pictures!
-
I've been home for a few day but I've been pretty stressed lately since I got home. As usual I've a lot of activitys going all the time and first thing I had to do when I got home was to go directly to work, even tho the jetlag and the overwhelming experience from last week. I want to write a little review to each and everyone who made this possible.
Adam Matis: WOW! I'm so glad you showed up! You're AWESOME in every way. We had some of the best moments during the meeting. Everything from waterskiing, king of the hill game and Jimbo-insulting-times. Awesome multiplaying. Thanks for the help with the tour video. Love ya man! Next meeting needs more huggings.
QB: I remember my first and only NSA a few years back when you just kept on going, where I finally won due to you having some problem/fights with your family or such. Me, Jimbo and Liz did a full covered search trying to find you at one point. I heard something about you being on Being-time just to be able to see everything live during the olympics. I admire your dedication. You also like movies which I do too. Good time buddy!
Ilari: We had a fun time as usual. I probably had my most intensive multiplayer match ever during the tournaments. You're one awesome guy and hopefully we meet up again soon. Good luck with studies!
Jon Bearder: Nice to see the main man in reality/action. I thought you had a good game in the tournaments against Sterling. The GNC was awesome! Thanks for driving SA and Illu to Washington! Good job on everything!
Greg Woll: We didn't talk that much but I think you were just as awesome as everybody else. You did very well in the matches when we played and I was very impressed by your playstyle. I actually thought that you had Illu for a while. Overall a very sweet guy. Grab me more next meeting and I'll try smashing you with Shiek or Kirby. Keep it up!
Trent Hovis: Awesome times! I haven't played stepmania in a long while but it's always nice to look at a new talent. I felt akward like crap playing infront of many people on that theme/computer/scroll whatever. No excuses (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e) I think we're very much alike altho we didn't talk that super much. We listen to the same sort of music! It was a pleasure meeting you in the finals man, you are really good man! Definitly looking up to you.
Quentin Menuier: We had a nice time together. I will remember that forever. You're probably one of the kindest guys I've ever met. You surprised me with your multiplayer skills. Hopefully you'll be able to come next year again. Ju suie la por genjie?
PYL: At first I didn't notice you that much. I know from before seeing you ranked on some games. Really fun french speaking guy! Had great poomping times last nice. You did some goofy things and did some mime things. I loved it. One of the best!
Eddie Lovins: Nice to meet up! Good going in the MK64 tourney! You were so consistent at the Rainbow Road shortcut. I felt sometimes that you were like sort of too mature for me or something. We didn't really talk much but I defenitly liked your preassence. Nice going on the rubiks by the way. We'll catch up more next year for sure!
David Wonn: Wow! This guy is unbelivable. I didn't know David that well before the meeting. He pulled of the craziest glitches on like every game. You also sounded so experienced about all the games. It was definitly a pleasure meeting you.
Sterling: The almighty Sterling! It was always nice talking to you man. You had some serious GE and MK64 skills man. Thanks for showing me how to throw an american football and for all the good times. The last night so great even tho all the shitpooping. Also admire the way you just kept on going trying to make crazy 3 lap shortcuts at MK64. I really hope that you can make it to the next meet.
JT: Didn't chat at all I think, but you're definitly one of the top karters at multiplayer out there. I had a really nice time watching the finals.
Josh: Hey there Josh! I had an awesome time talking to you! I love how consistant you were in the random madness of MK64 multiplayer. You had a really good atmosphere. As everybody else, you should come next year aswell.
Shade and Lec: Awesine that you guys dropped by to say hi! You should come permanent next meeting for sure.
Eric: Didn't talk to you that much but you seemed to be a very kind guy with awesome atmosphere. I liked you pingpong skills. (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e)
Wheat: Haha! This is one funny man. I liked the poker tournament, but unfortunatly I was still abit tired from the meeting or something. I figured I might go all in and then go to bed. I felt that you came up with nice arguments and ideas all the time. Way to generalize all the swedish poker players haha.
Derek Clark: Girls love breakcore! Derek, you're so great! I had loads of talks with you. I especally remember the talks about american food and your creativity in music. We definitly have the same taste in music. Just poke me if you come up with any new stuff, I'd love to hear it. You had REALLY nice beats/breaks goin on there. Work abit on those melodies and you could go far! I just admire everything you've done for the-elite. One of the best. May the peanut-power be with you!
Mark Jones: It was really fun meeting you Mark. Thanks for the tour vid part 2 and great competition in the tournaments. we'll talk more for sure!
Nathan: Thanks for making this incredible event possible. You almost had me in my absolute first goldeneye match due to nerves. Thanks again for everything Nathan!
Jimbo: It's hard to find so competivie guys like you. I was really looking forward to play goldeneye against you but we didn't have the time to do it unfortunatly. Good job on Archives man, I'm getting that one next. Good talks, we have alot in common. I remember for instance checking out drumstuff on youtube, talking about Chambers. It's nice to have these diffrent personalities, the meeting wouldn't be the same without you man!
Liz: What now!? What......!? A girl on the VA meeting! Where do I start? At first I thought what the heck, she can't be that good but WOW! She blew my mind. Liz is awesome in every way. She had an awesome atmosphere and she was just happy all the time. We had great talks which definitly improved my english. She was intrested in europe aswell which made that a good topic to discuss. It's crazy (in a good way) to have girls around at a meeting such as this one. Awesome luck you got there in the poker tournament. Nice poomping the last night (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e) More girls should definitly join next meeting. Liz took the big step here. Now that I've been to a Virginia meeting with a girl in it I can't imagaine being there without Liz. Therefore you must come next year. Chat with you later!
Bill: Who's Bill!? I have no idea. Apperantly he is one of the random double dash players Nathan sent out a message to that decided to come. I'm really glad he did. He fin in well on this meeting. I really admire how he just showed up without knowing anybody. I had some of the best talks with Bill. He even drove me back to Washington cause he was heading that way. Bill is epic, he's one of the nicest persons I've ever met. You have to be there next time. We'll be in touch Bill, take care until then.
Andrew: My absolute first reaction to Andrew was a really knowledgable guy. The first few things we talked about he seemed to know it all. I'll consider sending my spare PAL console to you, or bring it next meeting. Andrew is top notch, awesome player, aswell as knowledgable and overall supernice guy. I enjoyed talking with you. Thanks for all the activitys and for making this possible.
The Weathertons: I just want to say that this was probably one of the most important trips of my life. There were 25 random guys (and 1 girl) in your home. They slept there, ate your food and did alot of activitys for 75$. Yet, you didn't seem to bother at all. You guys took care of us so good. The food and service was great. I got to try the waterskies which I always wanted to do. I had such an awesome time. You guys are the best. I can't thank you enough.
This meeting made me grow, really. In some kind of way I felt that it has really changed me as a person. Since this is pretty much one of the best things that has ever happened to me and really dedicated to go next year. The trip costs alot of money, I mean I got the tickets over the big pound pretty cheap but it's still alot of money. Money doesn't care at all, I actually already have the money for next years trip and I'm willing to put them aside just to have next years trip garanteed.
I felt really sad leaving the house. If I forgot about you, hit me or something. I miss you people!

i gotta make my recap soon!

Jones, think you could get that full vid from Patrik and host it temporarily? I'd like to get it up somewhere just for a few hours so I could dl and work it over and put it on the SRW with the others.

He was preparing to barely knock me out of the Kart tournament! (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f)

Patrik: "This meeting made me grow, really. In some kind of way I felt that it has really changed me as a person" I hear you. I can say that both years had a profound effect on me... it's like that sleepover you had when you were a kid that you hoped would never end. That's a feeling that's harder to come by when you're older, but it means more when you find it. The best way I can describe it is a total validation of weird interests and internet friendship - it speaks for the power of human relationships. I'm very happy to hear you intend to make it to future meetings, because I think your presence (and the Euro presence in general) really elevated the sense of meaning at this year's meeting.
Quentin: French is just the hardest shit to pronounce ever for English speakers, haha. Nathan is another full degree away with that Oklahoma dribble (hehhh) so I would just accept that you two will never be able to achieve conversation. Glad to get your take on the trip.
Everyone: I'm the busiest I've been, like, ever. I want to get on AIM but just have had no time. Trying to change that; Washed Up Gamer will return.
-
haha yeah I was surprised when I saw JT not answering he's actually a really nice person!
As for Adam's touring skill I'd say you could self qualify them as awesome since you say it way better then I do (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Ftongue.gif&hash=7cfc888ebd66cf455a55fd5e124ee8267da91148)
Are the MK64 vids done as well? Or the wakeboarding?
-
I'm reminded of another classic moment. We were on the boat and Adam was doing some wakeboarding, still fairly new to it. I started signaling that he needed to try to go huge (he had drifted wide outside the wake). He acknowledged me, then cut hard against the wake and attempted a flip or something, but immediately his feet ripped out of the boots and he went flying. Kudos to Adam for being intense* with the watersports.
* - note that Adam also managed to jump off of his tube and onto Ilari's while they were jetting at full speed. That and he did a barrel roll.
-
Yeah, I remember that flip too! I guess Adam is just the man for all kinds of sports (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f)
Also, I remeber Patrik wanting to do some sort of "water ski", but without the skis (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fhappy.gif&hash=7b9cd982f9a41f9aefcd7ea74682d5f1e4caf4c6)
Nathan is another full degree away with that Oklahoma dribble (hehhh) so I would just accept that you two will never be able to achieve conversation.
Haha!
By the way, I think it should be good to gather all the pictures of the meeting. So far, I know that:
- Jimbo
- Nate
- Adam
- Patrik
and me, have taken pictures.
I guess we could do a sort of big archive with them all, or upload them all at the same place (like on thengamer, or on a place more adapted for watching pictures). I am volunteer to gather them all, I'm just wondering right now what the simplest way to do so is (like downloading them one by one from a photo album is pretty long, but I'll see if I can do that).
Also, I think of resizing all the pictures to 1600*1200, because the quality of this is usually sufficient, while not consumming too much memory.
If anyone else has another idea, this is welcome as well!
-
Did you upload yours yet, Quentin?
-
I thought there was a vid of the ping-pong's final, when will we be able to watch it? (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e)
-
I think sterling has it.
I'll upload my photos tomorrow.
-
Ok, I have downloaded all the photos taken by Adam, Jimbo and Nate, but they are in pretty poor quality (I naively thought facebook stored full sized pictures, I guess it was like this at a time, anyway....).
So yeah, on the other side, the advantage is that if we make an archive, it will be quite small (like, Adam's 251 pictures are between 10 and 15 MB).
Only Patrik missing I guess; just funny to think that if they are resized the same way, each of these photos will go from 10MB to 20KB...isn't it Patrik? (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fwink.gif&hash=4979046fbfc7ed25a03644bf608e503c4aa73f0f)
Besides, I have uploaded my own photos on Facebook for those who want (https://forums.the-elite.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ezboard.com%2Fintl%2Faenglish%2Fimages%2Femoticons%2Fsmile.gif&hash=1adea417e08e9042f9ce1a5426616bf29f2ca20e)

My photos are available in my getfile.
