I'm not sure if it's been done before, but what the hey. On the verge of Quantum Of Solace go ahead and rate the past Bond flicks in order of favorite to crap. And it can be for any reason you like. Have fun!


1) Casino Royale
2) Goldeneye
3) On Her Majesty's Secret Service/Live And Let Die
4) Goldfinger
5) The Man With The Golden Gun

...only five for now...and it may change a little after I watch them all again

1. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (one of the most underrated films ever, extremely underrated imo. Best music score by far, best action sequences, good story etc; the only weak thing is Lazenby as Bond)
2. From Russia With Love
3. For Your Eyes Only (most action packed Bond film)
4. The Spy Who Loved Me
5. A View to a Kill

6. Octopussy
7. Thunderball
8. Dr. No
9. Live and Let Die
10. Casino Royale
11. Goldfinger (One of the most overrated films ever)

13. Diamons Are Forever
14. The Living Daylights

18. The Man With the Golden Gun (silly; the worst of the "real" Bond films)

SNAP! i almost forgot about OHMSS!!!

the only thing i dont like is that BOND MARRIES!!! and then, to make things even worse, he seems to have forgotten about it in the next movie (Diamonds Are Forever)

but you're right-GREAT Bond movie! btw Diana Rigg was gorgeous

Lol Axel I gotta agree that Die Another Day was definitely pretty bad. Halle Berry was terrible, and Pierce wasn't near as good as he was in Goldeneye.

I actually haven't seen hardly any of the older films, so I'll just say

1. Goldeneye (my favorite movie of all actually)
2. Casino Royale
3. TWINE (Denise Richards, although a terrible actor in the movie, is fucking hot)

1. Goldeneye, not that it's good, just cause of the game, and all thebits u spot and such. Famke Jannsen was so hot in this film, but for like an age i thought Nat was awesome. They should have put her in more exotic clothes. Aside from that nice piece she was wearing on the beach, it was meh. Gotta love the respawning guard throughout the film. See if you can spot him. He gets wasted, and he's back to recieve some more bullets. He even lived to star in TWINE!

Dunno bout the rest at the mo, The Spy Who Loved Me is my fav Moore film, cause it had a cool car and the babe in the chopper was hot. The bad guy sucked though.
I like Goldfinger for Connery, it has lots in the film, but FRWL is the one Bond i like cause it's really simple, and Red Grant made a good opponent. ThunderBall, was good but i got bored with the underwater fight sequence. All i was thinking was that so many guys went into the sea, but like there was way more killed than there was supposed to be. Must have had reenforcements off camera. The music got tiresome too. Ha! And the speeded up editing was so gay. Though it had one of the hottest bond girls.

Gotta love Max Zorin, the film was cheesy as hell. But i crease up every time i see him laughing as he wastes the miners. Enough of the films, let me talk babes.

Notice that my top 5 all consist of different Bond actors, I'm just not a Dalton fan at all. I think Lazenby was fine as bond in OHMSS but everyone else thinks otherwise. My personal favorite Bond was Moore, but he never made movies that stand out quite as hardcore as my top 2.

Goldeneye is definately the best one i have seen, along with Casino Royale. I have seen the others but none of them left a lasting impression.

The rest is very interchangeable. I watch all the films very regularly and stuff moves up and down the list quite easily. That being said, stuff like Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, Octopussy, View to a Kill, Goldeneye, Casino Royale, will be rated higher more consistently than Thunderball, Man with the Golden Gun, Living Daylights etc. The absolute worst are License to Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies and Die another Day.

As far as my LEAST favorite goes: I have heard people rant and rave about how wonderful Thunderball was. I have watched it on multiple occasions, but it is such a boring film.

Hard for me to know where to put qos right now as ive seen others 20+ times each, so comparison is slightly unfair at this stage.

That being said, pending further viewings, I have it top 5.
