I'm just wondering if there is any correlation between gamers and those who stereotype.  I'm not trying to start some ridiculous thread where we are yelling at each other about differences but I am just pondering how many of us will admit to stereotyping.


Personally, I stereotype.  What many people do not realize is that if you see two men walking down the street, one wearing a suit, and another wearing a construction outfit, that thinking the man wearing a suit is likely a white collar worker and the other man is likely a blue collar worker, is indeed stereotyping.  No matter which way you cut it, you are judging something about someone on something not related to the subject.

Of course, the bigger issue is stereotyping by race, faith, sexual orientation, sex, etc etc, so please leave these controversial ideas out of this thread.

Just hoping we can have some interesting discussion here that isn't related to a contest or sporting event.

I stereotype. And I do that a lot with nerds/gamers/whatever (including a lot of people on this place tbh). When I see whitegoose, i think of the wasted pussy opportunities of times past. In which case, theres nothing wrong with at least pretending to be cocky, dumb and drunk- the hottest girls are the most susceptible to 'image' and influence.

To answer wiff's question, I have a Sony stereo in my car. It has an aux jack that I use for my iPod! (and to answer your upcoming question, yes rly)
