every time I open certain topics on the boards (the GE tournament, a few in FFA) I get redirected to fling.com and see many pictures of naked women near Toronto who want sex tonight!  Does anyone else get this crazy advertisement redirecting them?  In other words, is it a cheeky yuku ad or is there something up with my computer getting spyware'd?

Firefox+Adblock should take care of any of those. IM me if you need help setting it up.

Matis, they use your IP and whatever city comes up there to make it seem personal, obv.

Yeah, everytime I view a new topic at work, I get like 20 security warnings popup, which I have to hit cancel on. Pretty annoying.

i have adblocker and firefox and they still come up for me. i wont be back to the forums basically until i see a topic saying this problem has been fixed.

Alex, it's not a "problem", it's an advertisement that yuku is running- I'm sure they get a few cents everytime someone visits fling, so I doubt they're going to stop doing it anytime soon.

The best solution is to install NoScript for FireFox. It works basically like AdBlock, but instead of just knocking out images it stops javascript and other stuff from running in the background. On an older computer it makes browsing the boards way faster, plus you won't get redirected anywhere.

ill have to trust this will sort itself out soon then! i cant turn off java script though as im ususally playing java games these days lol
