Post by: RWG on February 06, 2009, 12:06:00 am: Hello and welcome to the 2nd annual competition which will answer the question "Who is here the most?"

This is a fun competition we played last year. For those who aren't aware:
(note, it is not fun but will challenge you to the depths of your ability, tear apart your soul, destroy your happiness, halt all your life's productivity, ruin your confidence and kill all desire you have to live.)

The rules are

You may post in the topic once per hour.
Your post must be your name followed by a number. Use any alias you want, just make it the same each post!
The number is simply your # of post, 1 2 3 4 5 etc in the topic.
The first person to reach 100 wins.

If you post sooner than 1 hour after your last post, it simply does not count! Double check your posts if you're cutting it close. We go by Yuku timing, and ties are OKAY to count as a post (down to the second, though!)

After signups and a general gauge on the number of people playing, I'll make a new topic and all posts there will count. The topic will be closed right away, and then opened by a mod/admin at start time.

We will begin at

Sunday, February 15, 1:00 PM Pacific Time

4:00 PM QB Time
1:00 PM Octo time
8:00 AM Australian Open time
9:00 PM Shep time

Figure it out from there!

Yes, a lot of us work, have school, jobs, etc. But,...

It is a competition but also fun to see how long it takes everybody! Compete even if you're gonna lose (like the NSa!), and we'll have final results with how long everybody took.

Don't complain about obligations during the week, or even the start time! Everybody sleeps, everybody will have things to do, so don't give up just because you'll hardly get posts in then have to fall right asleep. I highly doubt you'll get 2nd because you had to go to bed 2 hours after it started and gave somebody else a head start.

The new topic will be opened at exactly (close enough to) the time given above, and all posts there will count.

Being on the road, posting with your mobile, having appointments, still posting etc. Not sure if I do it again :P

And what other competitions have I created or brought back? Jon requested that I run the competition this year and I wanted to do it, so I am running it. What other competitions have I created that really bothered you and ruined people's spare time and productivity? Why all the hate?

I'm not saying it wasnt good last year, i can't really say since i never took part but to be fair this is pretty lame but doable compared to that childish dance thing. I'll pass though, good luck to those taking part.

I nearly ran this comp on kart after seeing it here, but decided not to....maybe this summer I will or something. On there I'd play for first, and probably come in top 3 (Fried/Etch seem to be around more than me somehow), but I don't know how hard I'll try at this. I probably have only loaded the forum 100 times in the last 6 months or so haha.

i will post in it, but since no one has EVER replied to me about my cap of 15, at least no one with the ability to lift said cap, i'm not really gonna los any sleep over it. imo, Goose has already won this competition (if you can even call it that) but i am certainly not gonna raise a ruckus over this, like Fal or Vitor has...

If I try superhard I can get posts at 8am, 9:30am, 11:05am, 12:05pm, 1:05pm, 2:05pm, 3:20pm, then every hour all night

That is my best possible schedule during school days, losing 1h20m each day there. I don't know what I'm going to do for sleeping situation. I could just stay up right until a deadline, then try to wake up as early as possible, OR I could try waking every 1h to be awake enough to make the post "B, x"

He didn't go back and implant earlier posts or anything of the nature so his 5th place finish is completely legit!
