Thats right we are having a meet involving
Adam Matis
Greg Woll
Eddie Lovins
Trent Hovis
Derek Clark
Sterling Neblett
Trent is going on vacation with his girlfriend from March 7th-14th in Orlando and called me up to stop by so I was thinking why not try to get a few more. So I gave Sterling a call asking about it and he said that he would be down for it then I text Derek and we started talking about it and he also said he would be good. Just needed to figure out some plans. Sterling said he could make it the 13th, so I talked to Greg and he said that he could probably make it the 13th too. So Greg ended up getting his plane ticket and then I told Eddie about it and I figured he would have to work and something else so when I said he just replied "thanks for inviting me" so I felt kinda bad even though he knew he was invited all along. Greg canceled his plane ticket and Eddie is going to get off work that Friday and drive to Gregs.
They are going to then both fly together down here. While Trent will be driving with his gf, same with Derek and Sterling. It should be a fun weekend with gaming of course..probably go out to eat and maybe gets some drinks. Everything is pretty much planned, We're going to have a decent amount of people and Derek is bringing one of his friends too. Sterling is arriving about 5 pm tomorrow while Derek and his friend will show up about 11ish followed up by Greg and Eddie about midnight.
Friday night we'll probably drink, play games and talk. So it'll be fun.

Trent arrived acouple hours later so we're all just talking and playing some games with my one friend down here. just awaiting for the arrival of Derek, Greg and Eddie now. fun times!

YEAH! We're all a little drunk right now, and we probably had the first ever the-elite beer pong tournament. Derek and Sterling are the champs so far, and Greg just beat me in a crazy comeback. Playing Brawl now and about to play some GE multi!

well we are all up right now. Sterling had to go already so he left this morning but it was really fun though and glad he came. Just playing a little GE right now and about to get some food and probably go out maybe play frisbee. but so far really fun

alright pretty much end of day 2...
we woke up pretty late to find out derek woke up about 3 hours before everyone else and was playing frigate. Overall fun day, we went to a burger place and had some food then after a couple of my friends called me to play ultimate frisbee. Went to this really nice park and had a decent size frisbee game that also included football and hacky sack. After we finished that went back to my place had some food and played some games. showered up then about 11 we went out to downtown Orlando to have a few drinks. Found this pretty nice place where you would go in and have different places to drink kinda like 4 separate bars in one. So generous derek opened a tab and we all had some beers. just sat down and talked about whatever, it was really fun and overall just a great time. Got back to the apartment about 2 am and I made burgers for everyone and as I speak we are playing GE running through all the missions, but we are about to play some PD challenges...

Awesome night, went to a kick-ass bar and had some beers, on Derek's tab like Adam said ha. Me and Greg played a couple GE matches when we got back half-drunk, then I speedran Train through Cradle Agent continuing the file Derek started this morning, and also got 5 more Runway 23s! (2540) Now I'm posting because Adam Greg and Derek are playing Challenge 30 PD and we all know I'm no PD player...

Fun little trip to see some good friends. It was nice to hear how far Adam is in school.. I really hope one day the elite can put a game together.("The Elite" sounds like a good title). Second time going to visit Adam and getting to see his place. We ended up getting a table and chairs for his place, we put them to good use.subway was sweet, they had this great sandwich called "the feast."Jimbo you'd of been excited. I guess on our mission there I completed an additional cup for Trent, I was undetected and didn't realize I grabbed 2 cups.
We got to be introduced to Diego, Adam's friend who studies the same field as Adam, and he was cool. We did play diddy kong for a while till we realized we had no turbo control to tap A with. Otherwise Adam, I think we could of touched your 31 lap with some additional practice.
Trent was doing well he explained he was in the halo 3 multiplayer tournament here in the states in jersey in the beginning of April. I was always a big fan of halo. I wish someone would of brought it to the Virginia meet. Would of been nice to have like a 4 on 4 upstairs and downstairs. I digress I hope trent team takes the win. He also spent a good week in Orlando and went to wet n wild, sounds like a good time.
Eddie and greg showed up about 12 which was early because I planned anyways to stay up late with everyone. I do have pics up on facebook. I think I have more but got some up on facebook of the guys. Eddie and greg explained like it was just yesterday it felt like we were in Virginia. Which felt true. They played some heavy brawl and goldeneye as well as some beer pong which was fun. We did get the first official video of the beer pong. I do have other earlier coverage of the night. Anyways it was cool seeing everyone wish I could of stayed longer, would if been nice to go out in Orlando with the guys. Sounds like you all had fun on dereks expense. What a guy.
Kind of left derek out of this but his music is coming along and I got to hear about some of the domain talk and contributions, which everyone here could contribute a little something.( myself included) do expect a donation Clark in the following months. And yes I'll have to get down and see your pad and visit sooner then later.

Had one of the best kills in GE multi history last night. I'd call it the "Real Best Kill Ever" (yeah better than Karl's).
Facility LTK pistols with Adam and Greg. Adam spawns in the back area after Greg kills him for the first kill of the match, grabs the PP7 and starts running back to the beginning. Greg is in the area right outside the first keycard mission door, and that door is open. With Adam heading past the mission locker room and into the next room between the 2 security doors, I run into the mission CPU room with a Magnum hoping for a glass shot. Adam runs into the room towards the door Greg is near, and Greg steps in front of the door as well. I take a single shot through the glass which kills both Adam and Greg!! Lined up perfectly. There was like a one-second pause then we all yell out OHHHH! in unison when we realized what just happened. We yelled so loud we woke up Derek who was sleeping in the back of the room haha. Then we just sat there reminiscing about it before starting up again. The tragedy is that Adam hasn't been taping anything so the only evidence remaining of this epic kill are 2 pictures I took on my phone of the screen with the one bullet hole in the glass after.

Derek, Greg and I played some PD and finished off 2 more challenges and have one more and we'll be done with that. One match we had our sim who was protecting us actually won the game by getting 3 kills. It was quite entertaining watching him dance around and stuff waiting for the game to end. It was kinda scare cause at one point he decided to stop guarding me and just ran off but came back. The whole ordeal was actually really funny just kinda had to be there. After that we went out for some lunch at some BBQ place that was really good and watched some tv and found a lot of really dumb facts out. Got the food and finished and went back to my place then Derek took off. After that about a hour later I drove Greg and Eddie to the air port.
It was a really awesome weekend and so happy everyone got to come over and times worked out so well. Definetly would like to have meets like this in the future and go out or whatever. Downtown was awesome, great weather and fun atomosphere. Yeah we just got back a while ago. Well actually, I got back. Eddie headed back to Toledo to see his gf so he's still on the road. Great times though, it was fun seeing everyone again. Next time I'm bringing my fucking VCR though so that kills like the one Eddie got are actually viewable and not just describable.

Awesome trip it's so great going to hang out in Florida, in the middle of a Michigan winter. Was cool flying with Greg again, keeping entertained with solving our Rubik's cubes and the games I have on my TI-86 calculator. One of the flight attendent ladies asked me if I was "counting" to solve my cube lol and I just said I use algorithms and we could tell that went right over her head. What else...it was cool playing PD and completing my first challenge ever, although Adam and Greg did all the work. I saw that match with the dancing sim too that was pretty hilarious. Also it was cool that we went out a lot, with going out playing sports and to the bars, and still had lots of time to game back at the apartment.
Had a fucking great time and I'm really glad I decided (last minute) to come, definitely worth it even with only being for a weekend. Hopefully Adam can come up to my apartment next month and we'll have another meet, and yes Jimbo you'd be invited too.

From my last two meetings it was the same shitty PD challenge that created the high point. Nothing like goofy AI mixed with tension to create some hilarious moments.
The weekend was cool. It was fun to drink with some of these guys for the first time. I'm thinking we should play root beer pong this summer or something just to harness the social hilarity that beer pong creates.
I got a 0:56 on Surface 2 agent, I'm pretty sure that's a record. I want to practice agent a bit so we can do speed runs this summer. Trust me it's fun.
Anyway, great to see the goodfellas and another weekend of hilarity. I feel like there's a lot more to say than I've said, hm. Yay for synchronous drunk texting to Jimbo.

Oh, and yeah, when Eddie got that shot it was like.. 6 in the morning and I was 15 feet away on an air mattress. I shot awake immediately, with the moment weaving into some dream I can't remember. All I know as I was scared shitless. for about 3 seconds. I thought something terrible was happening or something. Haha.
