Title: My Christmas Wish List
Post by: Jimbo on November 13, 2011, 10:00:35 pm
Morning everyone. I don't want to go the ebay/craigslist route for games and accessories I want, so I'll just list what I want here and hopefully someone is willing to sell. My highest priorities are at the top!

1. GameCube controller (corded or wavebird, in mint condition). I've had 3 all my life and feel it's time to get a 4th, my band and I love to play Melee and I need a 4th controller asap!

2. Wii controllers (2). I need wii controllers and ebay is proving ridiculous. Offering 20 bucks for 2 with or without the gloves regardless of color!

3. Super Smash Brawl, Mario Super Sluggers, Mario Sports Mix, Mario Party 6 and 7, Super Smash Bros 64 (the best game I've never owned, just borrowed for many years), Galaxy 2, DKCR, Japenese Goldeneye.

Not expecting much but surely someone needs extra cash.

Do the Gamecube controllers have to be in mint condition?

I was going to say I have a few wavebirds, I dont use them so i can send you one. Definitely not mint condition but usable. I can lie and clean it making it look like mint condition.

I'd pay a good amount for a like-new controller, they're just impossible to find around here :(

I got 2 silver Gamecube controllers on Ebay a couple months ago for $10 each. They were both in excellent condition.

For $20 you can get a brand new Wiimote, in limited edition gold, and it will be the more accurate Wiimotion plus version.  You'll want the Motion Plus version both for the Wii itself and Nintendo's next console, which will be backwards compatible with this controller.

If you're ok with the regular wiimotes with no nunchuks.  Buy.com has them for 9.99 w free shipping.

as for the gamecube controller.  Assuming you want an original one (lol knockoffs)  you'll have to spend about a hundred bucks for one still in the package  (ok found this one for 70) http://www.ebay.com/itm/nintendo-gamecube-original-controller-purple-indigo-new-/150681663238?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item231553b706 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/nintendo-gamecube-original-controller-purple-indigo-new-/150681663238?pt=Video_Games_Accessories&hash=item231553b706)

OR

pay like 10 bucks and get whatever the hell you want.  Your call.  Just search official gamecube controller  (or original gamecube controller).

god, you're so cheap jim.  These shouldn't even be on a want list, they're common and cheap.

In Minnesota, I acquired:

1 mint GameCube controller (yay!)
Super Mario Strikers
Mario Party 6
Japanese Goldeneye (yeah!)

Now all I really need is Smash 64, which was selling for $40 at the same store I bought the GC controller from (for only 15 bucks).

Alex Anderson modded one for me to use in American consoles, and gave it to me as a gift if I made the 300 mile hike to the Minnesota meet! I couldn't resist it :)

by "modded" do you mean he simply carved out the little plastic pieces that would be in the way for an NTSC US console?  if so, that's what i did too.  that was a nice gift indeed from sir, 13ASS13OOST!

I have a security bit. I just removed the back of goldeneye jap and put on some random sports title backing. giving it the fit of an american ntsc game and throwing out the remains of another 50 cent n64 game no one will ever play :P

with all these modded Jap carts; my non modded one's gonna be worth 10k some day ;)  Keep modding away boys!  (though I do support the mutilation of any 64 sports game)

Everything crossed off my wish list except for ONE GAME, which I might get for Christmas!  This has cost me a bundle, but it's well worth it!
