I just had an idea for something to do in VA, I wasnt sure if it was worth a whole topic or not, but i decided it would get more attention this way and went with it. I was thinking maybe after the official tourney is done (probably 3 players), we could run 2 seperate "unofficial, but relatively official" tourneys upstairs afterwards. This would be one with split screens and radar on, and one with standard rules. Afterwards we could consider how each player ranked in all 3, and finally crown an official Goldeneye Multiplayer World Champion. Given that the only other good multiplayer who wont be there is Illu, i think its reasonable to do so! (I hope Im not forgetting someone lol.. maybe ace but meh)
Now I know time might not permit us to do all 3 tourneys, but if we limit the other 2 to only the best players (I could make a list right now, but some people might get pissed off so i wont), i think it should be fine. We had plenty of time last year where I wasn't even doing anything, so I dont really see what the problem would be. Well anyway, I just wanted to get the interest on this rolling so it actually comes to fruition at VA, since I dont want it to just be an idea that fades away later. We could also do some fun stuff like Agent/SA/00A speedrun competitions if we have extra time... Or we could do these side tourneys during the official tourney whenever players have down time etc. Might be pretty jam packed, but whatever works imo.

Just take the "top 8" and it wont take long to do 2 tourneys. If theres any confusion of whos top 8 material I guess you could expand it to 16

Yeah I'd say the top 8 from the official tourney should continue to the "bonus" tourney's , then we can figure from there a rankings system.

I want to spend a lot of time chillin and chattin and hangin with some of the guys I've known for a long time. I don't really want to spend that much time playing GE multi. So after I win the main tournament I probably won't be interested in playing in any more tournaments.
I also plan on winning the table tennis tournament, the poker tournament, and the sexiness tournament. My agenda is already pretty full :)
