Jimbo has said he will consider a bet, right now his floor being $500, for him getting in the top 10 during 2013.
This is how it works.
We will each put up money. Once we raise at least $500 in offers, Jimbo can either accept or decline the offer. You can offer any amount of money (min $25, no max.)
If Jimbo gets in the top 10 at some point during 2013* everyone will send Jimbo the money they bet.
If Jimbo fails to get in the top 10 at any point during 2013, he will have to send everyone whatever money they offered.
Current offers
Goose $50
Neo $50
Luke $50
Edeen $50
Total = $200
Come on, let's watch Jimbo struggle for the rest of the year for only a few more dollars!
Post your offers here and I will update as necessary.
* Top 10 must be achieved without any sketchiness. ie: no Jimbo "not having a video" for a high scoring time. If a top 10 player gets removed as a temporary punishment for whatever reason, Jimbo must get to 9th (which would be real top 10.)

But if Jimbo gets to 11th and then Marc gets removed for taking down all his vids or whatever, then Jimbo goes to 10th. That's not real top 10 and doesn't count.
The chances this happens are very low so w/e.

This intrigues me. I'm tempted to put up some money but perhaps respect Jimbo too much for that. Turning this into a pressure-filled grind for him seems cruel!
It's more the pressure from the ridicule of failure than incentive of cash that would drive in the end and that would be sad :(

I just want to clarify this, since I forgot I made this bet. The original post says his floor is $500, and that wasn't raised. So congrats to Jimbo on top 10, if I put up $50 on it I truly didn't think you'd get it, but no one has to pay up yeah? Shoulda floored at $200 Jimbo! It was a nothing-to-lose bet!

It was never an official bet, don't worry Dan. I figured it would have taken some serious grinding all year to get top 10, when in actuality I took 4 months off and played casually at the end of the year and still got it.
You still owe me $40ish from the Vikings game, make it $50 and I won't troll you :p

Yes. An incentive for Dam 52 is the single most important incentive currently.
