Title: **GoldenEye Quarterly POWER RANKINGS - April 2013**
Post by: RWG on April 10, 2013, 08:12:04 pm
I will try to do this every 3 months.  I will separate the active and relevant GoldenEye 007 players in tiers and rankings, according to recent PRs, past PRs and future potential.

This is mostly for fun and everyone is free to make their own power rankings.

Tier 1 - The Superstars

1. Rayan "True Faith" I. - Everything he touches is pretty much an untied or a sweet WR.  He has lowered the total time in the past 4 months more than the entire elite did in 2009.

2. Marc "Dark Inkosi" R - Pretty good player who gets quality WRs here and there.  Takes advantage of an inactive Clemens to move to 2nd.

3. David "Ruff Ryder" Clemens - Obviously has potental to be #1 most of the time, but inactivity hurts.  Control 00A untied and Egypt 45s are high quality enough to keep him in this tier.

4. Ryan "True Religion" "Zenith Legend" "Goose" White - An all time legend with durability!  Goose is still getting sweet PRs, improving 7-8 year old times which were good enough to keep him in the top 10.  Bunker 1 00 Agent 1:03 is the best PR achieved by a non Marc or Ace in 2013 so far.

5. Jimmy Bauer - Jimmy has proven himself worthy by cleaning up his times page with the likes of Caverns 00A 1:38, Bunker 2 00A 1:00 and Aztec Agent 1:26 which is probably even better than Goose's B1 1:03.  He got an elusive career untied, locking himself in as a legitimate top 8 player.

Tier 2 - The Star Players

6. Bryan "Boss" Bosshardt - If he ever plays again, he could easly pass Henning for 4th place and possibly even pass Marc for 3rd.  Total inactivity can't keep Boss off the power rankings. He's that good.

7. Luke "Homeonice" Szklarz - Consistent great PRs like Bunker 1 00 Agent 1:05 and Train Agent 1:04, as well as many common WRs prove that Luke is a player belonging in this tier.  Can he ever get an untied WR?  Time will tell, but he is certainly a future top 9 player if he keeps this up.

8. Ilari "Illu" Pekkala - Inactive of late, but he proved he belonged in the top 8 with some solid PRs and WRs in an attempt to hold off the surging Goose earlier this year.  Times like Cradle Agent 0:34 and Surface 1 Agent 0:48 don't come easily unless you're a top player like Illu.

9. Guillherme Alberto - Guiga the Enigma solidly got some Egypt 46s and the Bunker 1 Agent 0:24, among some other decent PRs.  His 9th place rankings doesn't lie.

10. Wouter Jansen - All time great Wouter has shown his prowess of late.  Pairing some Archives 55s with Cradle Agent 0:34 is a nice breath of fresh air for this artifact of the elite.

Tier 3 - The Good Players

11. Ryan Lockwood - The bro of the elite consistently gets solid times enough for 11th on this quarter's power rankings.  CHYEAHHHHH THE TAPE ISN'T FUCKED UP.

12. Karl Jobst - Pretty much anything he gets these days is a good PR.  Plus he has like 80 career untieds so he's a decent player.

13. Henning Blom - He got Caverns SA 1:19 in December, so he should probably be a bit higher.  Whatever.

14. Jim Barrett - Will he EVER get back into the top 10?  His recent PR history actually looks pretty good... why is he not top 10?  Is he cursed?

15. Alex Anderson - He plays 100% but still he looks like the former top 5 player he once was.  If he started playing single stages again it wouldn't shock anyone if he made the top 10.

Tier 4 - The Decent Players

16. Axel Z - Will surprise you with a terrible PR that he should have got in like 2005, and then a sick PR that beats your time.  He's decent enough for this spot.

17. Ryan Koch - Has achieved many PRs you would expect of this 13th place stalwart.

18. David Witten - A fair amount of 18th place PRs lately.  He got a WR too.

19. Shawn Johnson - Truly I wanted only 25 people on this list and could only come up with 24.  This was the empty space so.

20. David Monteith - I thought he PRed more but I guess I was wrong.

21. Luke Pettit - Same as Monty, but with less PRs and more career untieds.

22. Stefan Persson - He got Archives 16.  Cool.

23. Cliff Hampton - Has posted some pretty bad PRs lately but he has Runway 35 so he belongs here.

24. Wodahs Reklaw - He's like Phil but with better times.

25. Philip Bezgoubov - He got Dam 53 twice and is slowly breaking his way through the top 100.  Where will it stop?
