Yes!  Now I just need to operate my own power station and generator that works in 50hz instead of 60hz!  Even though NTSC to PAL converters don't work, the solution is simple!  Time to start my own nuclear fusion reactor to power my PAL TV and console!

Who said anything about those solutions? Simply move to Europe. Saves the time to work out other feasible options.

I could rig you up a stationary bicycle and you could generate your own 50Hz. Actually, it'd be totally worth it to see you simultaneously playing and trying to maintain 50Hz.

And more seriously, it's possible to convert to DC and then convert to whatever frequency you want, so it's possible and not really that difficult. I bet there are commercial solutions. Might have to do some cord splicing but no big deal.

I'm sure even if goose created his own nuclear fushion reactor, somehow the display will be fucked or there will be delay. Getting PAL to work correctly in the states is just impossible. It goes against the laws of psysics.

I've said this many times but isn't it possible to just use a CRT monitor instead of a TV? That's pretty much how I played from most of 2005-2008.

I can successfully play my PAL N64/GE/PD/Mario Kart 64 through my capture card, but the input delay makes things frustrating and nearly unplayable. It runs no problem at 50hz though!
