The only reason I'm making this thread is to show this funny post conversation I had with Marc back in mid 2010 when we were around 1:13:29

I mean, wow, look at how good my preds are. Train 123, 150, Jungle 00 54, Caverns 132 (which was right for a long time and is an amazing pred considering it was made in 2010,) Facility 52, S1 148, B1 102. I'm pretty much the foremost expert when it comes to speedrunning. Meanwhile Marc is clueless and thinks 1:12:59 will never happen. It is good however, to see him come far in his life with seeking the truth now.
I am always right, 100% of the time on these things, but even I have a hard time to fully believe 1:11:59 will happen. I'd say it's close to 100% chance that it actually does happen someday, but right now it's hard to wrap my mind around. We are at 1:12:33 right now, so we need to cut 34 seconds. It is certainly possible but will take a lot of work, effort, and use of new strategies.
Discuss, post fake maxes we can laugh about, make dumb statements we can ridicule in 3 years, etc.

To make a list that insane but leave Silo 00A at 1:20 when 1:19 is clearly possible, maybe 1:18 or lower, is just silly.
Egypt 44 could exist as well. Aztecs can all go way lower than 125/134/137 in theory.
No one has ever seriously contemplated a S2 00A 2 grenade strat. Stuff like this is where GE is at today.
Your B2 00A time is a great prediction. You need to redo your whole prediction with that sort of insanity in mind.
Dam SA 1:15 seems pretty impossible with current knowledge, though.

Isn't Depot SA 0:39 barely possible? I think Monteith and Ace failed a couple, not sure.

This is a list of semi realistic times, not what times are possible in theory, don't mix it up. Everyone knows sub 120 is possible.
Same with Aztec, everyone knows 124/124/124 is possible in theory.

I can see Ace get 44 on Egypt A, but probably wont happen since he can't be arsed to continue wasting shit loads of hours on it.
B2 00A is probably one of the few levels where we haven't used the optimal strats yet. Nobody knows how realistic it is, some time needs to be invested into it. There is also a easier strat than the current TAS strat that saves 1-2 secs compared to the strat we use now iirc. My bet is THERE IS A WAY to improve B2 00A much more.

Isn't Depot SA 0:39 barely possible? I think Monteith and Ace failed a couple, not sure.
Yeah I've failed 39s, it's pretty insane though I've only had a couple legit fails but it's more realistic then many of the times in this topic imo. I'm pretty sure ace has failed legit 46s on 00A too.
