So I saw AGDQ this year, amazing job guys. I enjoyed it very much.
Below that though it reminded me again of what happened. So I decided it's time to own up to it and try to carry on.
Anyway I know not too many of you knew this about me but I used to have a lot of huge anger issues. Most of the time I could keep myself under control but sometimes I couldn't handle it. I've been getting help in the last couple of years and things are going very well.
One day some years ago I lost it, and ended up completely destroying everything in my room. Among the dead was most of my old computer, my old N64, controllers and a whole bunch of my tapes. Unfortunately including the one that Clemens had sent me, with all of his old times.
David, I'm so sorry. For the tape, for the way I acted the last time I was here, for my ineptitude, for everything. I don't know what I can do to make up for it or reimburse you, but I feel like I have to tell you what happened or it's going to bother me every time I think about it. I'll always be ashamed of myself but my hope is that with this I can at least feel better about everything. I'm sorry this had to take so long too and I don't know why I didn't just take a week to do it a long time ago.
What I did find was all of Brandon's tapes, and I spent the last month getting those captured and edited and everything... I'm actually surprised they haven't crumbled, even though one has a huge crack in it.
Everything is here on my computer now. Brandon, I need help in naming some of them properly though, I don't have the original lists you sent me.

well... it's a magnet link you use in your torrent client, let me know if it works or if not then I can just upload all of it to youtube or somewhere.
Copy it, then use File > Add torrent from URL in uTorrent if you have it.
Maybe no one cares anymore or maybe you all want me to just leave again, the point of this was to get things off my chest and just deliver on the responsibility that I took on all those years ago. I'm not asking you to feel sorry for me or anything, I dunno. I think I'm just rambling now.

I used kroaniejack to test many things like direct capture, strats, youtube, streaming, even the site's new ranking system which by the way is awesome.
I won't log in to it any more, just delete it off the rankings if you need to. Or you know, me. I probably broke rules right.

I actually have the best eye for goldeneye and knew 100% that kroanijack was not a talented, fast learning new player (wodahs, mirror, flicker etc) but an old, experienced player either playing sloppy on purpose OR derusting

Not a big deal, we just want to keep the rankings clean of alternate accounts to avoid players unjustly losing ranks/points because of duplicate members.

Copy the magnet link, which is that whole line, and then you gotta paste it into your torrent client. Whatever it is, it should have an option to let you load a torrent via URL.
No Brandon you weren't the reason, I just had a lot going on at once. And yeah! If you still have the original text lists that named these I can rename them as well because I was just putting down what was happening in the videos, especially with a few of the GTA3 ones, I didn't know what was going on... And the Timesplitters ones, I'm not familiar with the names of either of those missions.

Why?, I'm sure they all suck according too you. You might find a few odd things, but everything else is bad prs. I could see the interesting stuff, but the bad stuff?, games you don't care about, gta/timesplitters, stupid side leagues, why those?

yes, it's true... I don't know how to compress video anymore :'(
Here is my suggestion for Youtube 480p with the minimum file size (hence minimum upload time) for optimal results, which is basically lossless for VCR recorded N64:
A decent program

(It's a trial without restrictions and lasts for like 6 months but when it actually expires you can reinstall it in a minute)
- Open captured file
- If needed: Set start/ending
- If needed: Video effects -> Crop (4:3 Ratio)
- File -> Export Video
Select "Computer / Data"
Preset: Custom
File Format: .avi
Resolution: 640x480 [TV NTSC]
Frame Rate: 30 or 29.97 [TV NTSC], idk what's ideal
Encoder Options:
*) Video Compressor: H264 (that's the one Youtube uses)
*) Video Compression Settings ... Rate Factor = Minimum 17, Max ~20 (higher means: more compressed file)
*) Sound Compressor: MP3
*) Sound Format: 44100Hz, 128kbps, Stereo
If you do it with a different program and have to enter a video bitrate, choose at least (but not much higher cuz useless) 2500kbps average bitrate and 5000kbps maximum bitrate for 640x480 H264.
Hope that helps to spread those mythical videos!
EDIT: Just to be clear, this is also a darn good encoding if you want to distribute the stuff without youtube.
