This is something I have been working on for the last few months. Using Goose's idea of the triathlon I used 3 tv's and 3 consoles to play each game at the same time... and beat all three in 51 minutes.

Thanks guys. Yeah the run was 50:57 but I timed it to the cinema to make it easier for n00b and non speedrunners to understand the timing.
This is a separate category called the Simultaneous Triathlon :)

Regardless, you did an excellent job, Karl. It was fun to see little button presses on long strafes here and there, talking with Val on Statue while doing other things, little triathlon-only relevant strats. Good watch!

Karl triathlon? I figured it'd be talking to three women at once...
Really enjoyed it dude, for a few reasons. I miss old school speedrunning where players who weren't super awesome execution-wise (me) could still use clever routing and solid strats to demonstrate a fun, casual speedrun of a game. Nowadays it seems everyone on twitch has already put in 1,000 hours, has a route memorized, goes nuts over a 3-second mistake, etc. The nature of this was more casual. It also lets you play during cinemas, which is fantastic. And I don't mean to minimize your preparation/skill--with OoT in particular, it was clear you put in time to learn strats (and the according setup for those strats), and the run never suffered terribly as a result.
I'd love to see you try even more aggressive simultaneous stuff, like moving through Lost Woods & Statue at the same time (or whatever). Regardless, great watch!

I will definitely go for lower at some point. Will crack sub 50 and beyond. Perhaps even get it down to 45 minutes one day.

Pretty sure that would still require a ton of work. Even with this vid getting a lot of views nothing much will come of it unless I work hard now.

You should man, your achievement is amazing. I talked about your accomplishment today at work and a guy told me he already saw the vid ahah. You created a buzz around it, you shouldn't stop man.
