Howdy all, posting this here as I think someone said this gets the most attention by frequent users (feel free to move it mods).
There is a request in the 'Website Suggestions' topic to link the proof policy from the rankings page, how about something like this?

Of course, this is just a mock-up: the 'Info' can be changed: as can the items in the list along with their icons etc.
Here's my quick ideas for each of the items in the list:
Proof Policy; Would link to the current proof policy in place, derr. This is easily done if it exists on an external site (sda) or within these forums.
FAQ (The most optimistic inclusion); How about a single, nicely formatted post containing speedrun-related quick-explanations (bullet pointed - elaborated when needed) for each stage within both games.
This could be split into 'Goldeneye FAQ', 'Perfect Dark FAQ' items on the list.
* Would require some collab by people who know the game MUCH better than I do, and can format properly as you can see by this post: I can't. BUT, could serve as a central 'pastebin' which each streamer could link to. :)
GE + PD Forum links: No current hyper-links from rankings --> forums, just a small quality of life fix.
Reasons against, reasons for, items that could be included etc: reply to your hearts content and we can see what can be done.

Yes, Yes, 1000x Yes. This has been needed since before the new site came up. I tried to campaign for it before release but it never happened.
Rules/Proof Policy is a definite inclusion, and FAQ is awesome as well. I'm sure we can compile a lot of Q&A type stuff from the crowd here. Some of you have a bit of this type info on Twitch profiles already.
May I suggest creating a FAQ page on speedrunwiki, where users can put together some FAQ material, then once it is at a reasonably well-done state, someone can review it and put it into the "official" page on the site that can't be edited by anyone and their mother. Hope that makes sense....collaborate to produce something official. Kinda like how the proof policy is tracked over there, but then we can make an "official" copy and post that directly as part of the rankings site.
May I also suggest a page about who is in charge. That should list the rankings admin(s), proof mod(s), etc. Right now Derek seems to get a lot of the email requests when people have issues with joining the site, it might be better if they can contact Jimbo or whoever else directly. We can also set up an email address with forwarding to those users if that is desired.

Yeah this is great. I've always been ever so slightly frustrated that the rankings didn't have a link to the boards.

Definitely a great idea! The community can decide how to polish it up, but getting it going would be awesome!
