Record approved:

The fastest Completion of Dam, Goldeneye, 00 Agent (Nintendo 64) is 118 seconds, and was achieved by Patrick Sinner (Germany), in Kefenrod, Germany, on 2 September 2013.

one of their team posted this in the comments.  gjge

Guinness basically leaves games up to twingalaxies and they could've been really damn good but instead they ran it like a clown show and still somehow managed to get way more $ and publicity than they deserved to.  I guess they probably have arcade and some super old games records but everything else is just pathetic and none of them care so whatever.

I think my favorite are the rules saying you need to show the box to the game so well if you don't have the box to the game anymore, tough break no record for you.

I'm just gonna casual try silo 58 - film my setup (done), pick up marc's 59 run (still has to be done) and merge it up with a gamesharked 0:58 ending (ezpz).

EDIT: Guiness is, and has always been a big fucking joke anyway. Just a bunch of random live attempts of bullshit and calling them WRs. That's the "r/speedrun" of the masses.

Uh... I believe Patrick is innocent here, guys. That "acrosbie" (Adam Crosbie, according to Artur's reply) dude was the real cheater, not him. "berblin" is Pat's username there, if you check his profile it says he's from Germany - whereas the cheater seems to be British.

After that team member posted "Record approved: The fastest Completion of Dam blablabla", Patrick said that info was incorrect. The team member (Adjudicato) then confirmed that there was a glitch in their system, meaning Patrick never submitted that run as his own.

edit - btw, something I just noticed in Artur's reply there:

"(...) This is Rayan I. personal best times at Dam 00 agent.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I censored my post so that there is no reputational damage for this honest fella.

Lol darklight404. I always thought that using variant nicknames as timespage URL was a very, very bad idea.

You mean not using the ID instead of the nickname was a bad idea?

Oh yes. It looks cooler and more intuitive as it is, but it's begging for dead links.
