I've always wanted to wake up and have a daily kick-in-the-ass smoothie, I myself have been pretty unmotivated lately to do much. This seems like a good mix and I'll be writing this down. Thanks!

Drinking green smoothies to start the day is a great thing, although, I don't wanna discredit dugg, but starting out with specific recipes is a free ticket to not start at all, if you don't have a healthy diet background. Because it's a bunch of ingredients that you'll not always find and have to slice all the shit, stash'em up, etc etc etc... it's cool if you already have the habit, but for starters I would just recommend this structure, not worrying about specifications:
- Water
- Leaf (could be kale, spinach...)
- Fruit
- Oat flour (this one is kind of a "free agent", I use it to add up some calories, but you can skip it or put whey protein, etc...)
* Ginger (staple healthy spice of all smoothies, although you don't really "need" it, but get it if you can)
Works like a charm, fun to make, and especially for people like me, single, only able to consume the whole organics bought just before they expire. Mint and vegetables are also options.
I usually make one batch and divide it into 3x 500ml cups (3 days, include the one of blending). The Oat flour goes to the bottom of the glass, but shaking it up before drinking solves it. (I don't even put it in the blender anymore lolz) My favorite is Mango + Spinach :D tastes really good for a green juice.
PS: Using mint - be careful to not put too much, because it tastes strong as fuck (I can't use it because it doesn't last long enough for what I'm able to drink)

wouldn't Ice cold water be a lighter shade of blue?
