Title: "Child Boards" Is A Silly Name
Post by: Lark on January 29, 2015, 02:26:42 pm: It is disrespectful to refer to Wave Race, Mario Golf and PilotWings with such a name. They're much smaller communities than the-elite, but they'll gain popularity overtime. Why not something more along the lines of...

Post by: Spec on January 29, 2015, 02:45:23 pm: I like the "Elite Model" of having threads such as: "Post new WRs here", "WR discussion", "Post new PRs/discussion here", and a "Full game runs" thread. No other community has this and I think it's pretty cool to bring that in other games.

Though I still don't get why the new boards aren't shown unless you're logged in. Isn't it possible to make them visible while still keeping their uhh... "experimental" status? I understand why stuff like the Council Archive is kept private, but a few non-registered visitors might be interested in those communities and stuff.
