As cliche as they are, they are true. Clemens will never amount to anything while you will. Wodahs, this doesn't mean anything to you because you can't get an untied and never probably will, so you don't know the feeling of getting trolled like this every time it happens. The game does mean something once you put a lot of hours into it.

Seriously what a cunt. That type of behaviour may seem normal (any top-tier player will get salty after losing a WR on a level they are really good at) but sometimes people take it too far. I worked really hard to get to that 1:39 (I lost 3 UWR pace runs at the very last door or later) and considering how many untieds I've been losing daily the past week (AB 202, Aztec SA 131/132 and 10 glass openings on WR pace runs, Silo 107, etc.) I was considering taking a massive break from The Elite. I wasn't even playing properly because that P2 run was in my mind for like 30 minutes.
But Clemens' comments made me feel like all the hard work I put in to get this world record was pointless. Congratulations you cunt. Now I don't even feel happy I got 1:39 now even though it's my first real (not considering Defection because of new strat) PD untied in around 2 years. You might think I'm overreacting, but seriously this is some shitty attitude and it makes me want to leave this place.

Um... there is a huge difference between the way I acted when he got 0:30 and when you did when I played P2? I just said I'd be a little bit irritated. Nothing more. This is completely normal when you lose an untied. I don't expect any congratulations posts either. I don't do them myself. I just don't like it when people shit on you non-stop when you work hard to get something.. look at the log again.
Do you remember how you felt when I passed you and you made a thread in June 2008? Or when you passed Boss in January 2008 and the thread he made about it? I think that's a good example of how I feel right now.
I do hope we can resolve our differences. Clemens is a great player. I have had about 20,000+ messages with him on Facebook and well over that amount on AIM. I apologize for this thread and everyone I've called out. But in the end I do hope Clemens realises that what he said really did hurt me.

Clemens was clearly upset because he recently learned about his fiancee's infidelities, and that's why he was so rude to Ace. What I did was like pouring a bag of salt into an openly bleeding wound. I was just tilted at Clemens' arrogance and ignorance when it comes to a lot of things (including his relationships) and felt like immaturely rubbing salt in the wound.
I don't care if we're friends though. I have 16.3k friends on Twitch :kappa:

This may be a surprising post but I want to say a few things before I leave this topic. I don't blame ace for how he reacted . I have been there several times and I believe he has learned his lesson and should be forgiven. It's extremely competitive here and we have all been in his shoes. I don't think he really meant what he said to wodahs. He was just upset and said it in a fit of rage. I would like to see ace remain friends with me and continue to competitively play the games and get world records. I am sorry for being a douche in chat.
And to goose. I was in no way threatening you. I honestly don't even hate you because I feel hate doesn't solve anything . You just crossed the line with your comments and I hope you can see that. I know deep down there's a reason you act the way you do sometimes and I am willing to look past it . If you get depot 39 I will still be happy for you. There's just some things that should never be said . That's all. I honestly hope we can someday be friends and get along normally.
