My analysis:

Cadbury Dairy Milk - too sweet and milky, never really liked it. 3/10
Twirl - Just amazing. 8/10
Snickers - Too sweet and overrated. 4/10
Mars - Same as above. 4/10
M&Ms - Really good candy but doesn't really have any amazing taste as some of the chocolate bars do. 6/10
Smarties - Same as above. 5/10
Bounty - Coconut sucks. 4/10
Ferrero Rocher - Good but slightly overrated. 6/10
Aero - Quite possibly the best chocolate I've ever had. Especially the mint one. Amazing bubbly, mint flavor melts in your mouth. 10/10
Toblerone - Meh, it's alright. I can't eat more than 5 segments or so without feeling sick though. 6/10
Flake - Amazing, soft and tasty. 8.5/10
Timeout - Really good. Simple and tasty. 7.5/10
Hersheys - Like Cadbury except it isn't sweet. Actually tastes really good. 8/10
Nougat Honey Log - I've never had it.
Twix - Overrated crap. 4/10
Milkybar - Good but it gets too sweet after a while. White chocolate one is good. 6/10
Kinder - 8/10. Awesome taste and nice juicy caramel that melts in your mouth but the packing is horrible.
Kitkat - Vastly overrated. Horrible chocolate bar. 4/10
Maltesers - Amazing. 8/10
Lindt - 2/10. Worst chocolate I've ever had. Needlessly expensive too.

Cadbury Dairy Milk - The chocolate I've eaten for like 20 years in various forms. A little hard to bite into. 7/10
Twirl - Great chocolate. Basically Flake with a coating. Easy to eat and tasty. 8/10
Snickers - Tasty but has a bit too much going on. Has caramel in it. 5/10
Mars - Shitter version of Snickers. 4/10
M&Ms - Some of the best. Very nice flavour and texture. 9/10
Smarties - Same as above but slightly better taste. 10/10
Bounty - Delicious sweet coconut chocolate combination. 8/10
Ferrero Rocher - Nuts are legit. 8/10
Aero - Very satisfying to eat due to its feel. 8/10
Toblerone - Haven't had this very much, but I remember it being quite standard. 6/10
Flake - Messy version of Twirl, but tastes marginally better for some reason. 9/10
Timeout - Great chocolate bar. 8/10
Hersheys - How all standard chocolate should be. I love the thin profile. 10/10
Nougat Honey Log - Probably good.
Twix - Not a fan. Caramel. 4/10
Milkybar - Very interesting texture and flavour but makes me feel sick quickly. 5/10
Kinder - Good stuff. 8/10
Kitkat - One of the best. 10/10
Maltesers - A unique taste you won't find anywhere else. 9/10
Lindt - Anything Lindt is fantastic in my experience. 9/10

I ate one of these (http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/6556/1399/400/ragusa-50g.jpg) the other day and it was quite delicious.

Out of those on the list I probably like Lindt chocolate the best.

Three Musketeers is my favorite candy bar ever.

no Milky Way? no Caramello? no 3 Musketeers? no Butterfinger? no Whatchamacallit? no Baby Ruth?

those are my favorites. The ones I eat until I hate myself are the Mini Charleston Chews.

Snickers, M&Ms, Ferrero, Toblerone, Hersheys, Twix, Milky, Kitkat... are the only ones they sell here from the list. :v
Do they sell stuff from 'Lacta' where you guys live? You should try out 'Sonho de Valsa', 'Amandita', 'Bis' and 'Diamante Negro'.

Some off the list that I particularly like, even though I'm not a huge candy enthusiast, are 'Crunch' (the name says it, milk chocolate with crunchy rice flakes), and 'Diamante Negro' (dark diamond) - this one being the favorite of my childhood, it has very subtle pieces of nuts and honey inside, giving the magical taste and light crunchiness that separates the chocolate from others.

Now I want some Diamante Negro :D

I've not heard of most of these, let alone tried them. Hershey's has been my favorite for a long time: thin, creamy, simple.

Philip's Amazing Analysis of Today's Relevant Chocolate

Cadbury Dairy Milk - Not very good, tends to cause immediate nausea. 1/10

Twirl - Never heard of it so it's probably bad. 0/10

Snickers - My jam. 10/10

Mars - Has a terrible taste and not even related to the planet. 1/10

M&Ms - Several types of M&Ms, some shit some mediocre. 5/10

Smarties - Pretty much shitty M&Ms. I recall burning boxes Halloweens ago. 1/10

Bounty - Used to love it but coconut has fallen off for me. 3/10

Ferrero Rocher - Overpriced, we can't afford the taste. 1/10

Aero - Haven't had in awhile but I recall it being nothing special. 2/10

Toblerone - Poorly shaped, feels odd in my mouth. Taste doesn't help it either. 1/10

Flake - What? 0/10

Timeout - Used to like it. 6/10

Hersheys - Same boat as Cadbury, nausea-inducing. 1/10

Nougat Honey Log - lol. 0/10

Twix - My mother fills my fridge to the brim with this crap. Looks like a turd and tastes like one unfortunately. 1/10

Milkybar - Terrible. 0/10

Kinder - So many different Kinder chocolates but generally good. 7/10

Kitkat - When I snap the bars apart, it just effuses shit to me. 2/10

Maltesers - Good. 8/10

Lindt - Another one of those top shelf shits covered in gold. 1/10

wtf @ not knowing what Twirl or Flake is. They're everywhere.

Interested in knowing what chocolates the guys who haven't heard of most of these have. They are the most common ones around.

Off the top of my head, these are what I remember.

Twix
Butterfinger
3 Musketeers
mr. goodbar
Kitkat
Snickers
Baby Ruth
Hershey's (milk, dark, w/ almonds)

Though not a chocolate bar (but neither are M&Ms), I like Reese's peanut butter cups. I've only very rarely bought a candy bar at the supermarket though, they are too expensive for me to justify an impulse buy, so even though it's likely some aren't available here (or by different names) it doesn't surprise me that I wouldn't recognize some.

Oh, and "Milky Way" is another common one.
