Overview: After driving my 1994 Buick Roadmaster for 7 years, and running into some insane circumstances in the last weeks of its life, it was time I finally bought my "dream" car. Dream being in quotes because my actual dream car is a 2014-present Corvette, but this is my dream practical car. A comfortable, efficient beast of a car that matches my personality well.

Overview: I had many dreams and aspirations of moving up in the world, making a ton of money with more brain work than muscle work, so I pursued an online-only education that would fit around my work schedule and lifestyle. I've since experimented in the corporate world only to fail miserably because sitting still for 8 hours, being a yes man, and being a robot does not work well for me. Started in September 2010 and finished in Feb 2014, I was able to get away without taking any loans as previous savings and tax-return credits helped immensely.

I happened to stumble upon one of my expense receipts from this year (fairly recent) and I found a relative of Jim helped me in the transactional process. So, thank you Jim & Family.

I'm too lazy to make a better post but my 1999 Cadillac STS and my piano were both paid in COLD HARD CASH mate.  Go wageslave yourself.

I could have paid the Charger in cold hard cash too, but I needed to build some more broad credit for a few months for my big boy mortgage in a few years :kappa:

Why do you need a mortgage?  Sell your mobile home for $60k.  Houses in your area aren't that expensive anyways.  Sounds like you could buy one in cash.  Regardless, your credit is already good enough for a house.  It seems like you could afford a house that would be $3M here/$400k there, so basically a beautiful, modern, fully renovated or newly built mansion.

Yeah, normal people under 30 can afford a 400k house. (Paying for one in cash?!?!?!)

Uh, in Toronto pretty much everyone under 30 owns a $700k+ house.
