The Moved On Club (MOC) is an executive, alpha-male only club for those who have moved on from playing degenerate games like GoldenEye and Perfect Dark. There's many, many people in this community who have ultimately become fed up and frustrated with the game, whether from their lack of skills or constant bad luck from the game, but unfortunately the game has become a drug for them and so they coerce themselves into playing it over and over to this day.
A great criteria for being a member of this club is having Surface 2 Agent 0:47. Now this is a very simple time and an easy 20+ point gain, but fortunately for the people who don't have it, they don't have it because they the level is too boring, the game has become irrelevant and there is no incentive to play it when they could be doing pursuing their passions and doing far more interesting things with their lives. So if you don't have it and have no mood to ever go for it, you're probably a member of this club.
You can STILL be a member if you have 0:47 if you provide sufficient evidence to show you don't care about the game anymore. Some example of good proof would be a video of your gaming equipment being thrown away or burnt or posting fake records to show your lack of care for the game and rankings.

Having Depot 25 or worse I think is a better criteria. 24 is even more boring, not even a WR, and just truly more degenerate.

I've moved on, I only chose to play a bit for 46 because it's like meditation for me, a little bit of meditation at times is good to calm my mind.
I mean going for 46 is not playing GE really anyway, you just sit there basically, it involves a few button presses but most of the time you just sit there so it's more like meditating.

Ace is our great non degen champ, a champ who sets a great non degen example by barely ever playing the game himself nowadays.
Also be free to use my trick of playing GE as a meditation practise if you like to meditate, like I said it's not really playing GE if you use it in a meditative way to just align your chacras and whatnot. Meditation is very non degen, studies show many CEOs of big companies meditate and other successful non degens.
Meditation basically has an anti degen effect so it opposes the degen effect that GE has on the soul so you can turn the small GE sessions you might have into something more productive (non degen).

meditation should be kept to ~20 sessions, maximum 2 x a day, so I don't know how long you've been meditating with s2 a illu, but be careful not to overdose

Hm, from a certain point of view being a big industry CEO is a very degenerate existence.
If you define non-degeneracy as being very successful (the mainstream understanding of success, that is career, power, money, girls, property), then a CEO is indeed 100% non-degen.
If you define non-degeneracy as having a balanced and healthy life, then a top manager with his 100h/week, youth wasted in higher education and internships, no or neglected friends and family, no or fucked up private life, and increased odds of cardiac failure and depression is 100% degen.
It's all about balance, priorities and perspective :) From a certain perspective, being a VP at JP Morgan is just as degen as playing Aztec.

You can speedrun old video games and not be a degenerate so long as it isn't taking over the rest of your life. Time management and a sense of responsibility are good skills to have. Jimbo and Green are good examples of being highly skilled and not blowing away their lives.
But, if you're not having fun, then go do something else. :v

Wheat brings up a good point. With most of Sterling's PR"s being from 1999, he is the reigning king of moving on.

Let us not forget that Sterling has made attempts to come back to Goldeneye and take back 1st place. I am especially referring to his disputes with MR over Aztec in the 1:30 era. World's One has never legitimately moved on the same way true MOC members have, he's just so terrible at the game that no one has ever seen any pr from him. ever.

Sterling is the exact OPPOSITE of moving on. Luke put it perfectly. The guy comes back every 3-4 years, tries to be relevant, and fucking fails.
I think he's too retarded to actually set up game capture in 2015. Makes me wonder how he doesn't forget to breathe half the time.

I'm too passionate about the games, the Elite, my role in the Elite, and value all of my friends here far too much to ever "move on" from here, so I'll never make these ranks. Maybe I'm ranked in the "moved on from the stress and drama", and just enjoy people's company/friendly competition :)

Same boat with Jimbo, data is my vice and the elite is my dealer. I tend to play in big spurts of going at it a few hours each night for two weeks, and then stopping for another two weeks to do play different games or just do other things in my free time. Plus playing both games and both normal/LTK always gives me something to do, and having a championship to defend by throwing in a point or two here and there. :v I'll probably be around for the long haul and don't mind the slow climb up. :)

Oh well, I guess in light of these latest posts I'll have to admit I didn't meditate for nearly 8 hours yesterday but played GE, I mean who am I kidding, the controller was in my hand and the N64 was switched on with the GE cart in it, kinda pathetic to try to say it was meditating better just to be a man see it for what it really was. I fell for the group pressure, it's like when you are in love in your early teens and people are teasing you for it but you try to deny you find the girl in your class cute.
Now Luke recently got 2nd place so he's been playing secretly, also Goose was streaming earlier today, the other members of the group might be whoarding or sticking up the n64 sticks up their arse for all we know. You know what I think this group is? It's a bunch of wankers, there I said it.

Also they use intimidation tactics to pressure people into joining and say that people who are not part of it are irrel or so it's a classic mind control tactic used by groups connected to the Illuminati! Never had the feeling I need to move on from a game. I might not play GE or some other game for years, but suddenly just feel like investing some hours into it again for a short or a long time, who knows.

One of the duties of the President of the MOC is to intermittently check how (ir)relevant the games are by briefly playing them. Hence this healthy one-month audit of Perfect Dark. Plus, how can you prove I got those times & not Leosco?
