It's that time of the year again! Surprised no thread has been made actually. 2016 was a great year and although we had fewer WRs than that in 2014 or 2015, there were still plenty untieds -- the streak of having at least 10 untieds a year has STILL been ongoing since 2009. Very impressive considering how "maxed" the game has become. GoldenEye is going to turn 20 this year, how insane is that! Overall 10 seconds were cut, including 2 on Runway 00 Agent and a second on the once never-thought-of Streets 1:11. Without further ado, here's the LIST of current records and current top 10:

- Ace uses new strats on Dam 00A to get 154, also unties Train 00A, Fac 51 and B1 SA 20.
- Grav cakes 29 in a few hours
- After being beaten to Runway 00A, Randy can't let the year go by without getting an untied; cakes S2 SA 47 in a week
- Riolo gets 147 00A, voted best WR of 2017
- Marc returns and seemingly cakes 59, but has likely been playing all year to get it
- Goose nails some insane untied WRs after redefining the term "degenerate stream"
- Sammy Rodgers takes advantage of inactive Wodahs nailing the Archives untied sweep, also gets Statue 00A 217
- Clem randomly plays GE for 3 days, gets Cavs SA 112
- Luke grinds for Egypt 44 for Kapap 3, gets it
- Swiss grinds Aztec 00A and lands a beautiful 135, also gets a lottery run on Frigate 00A
- Boss unpredictably posts a S2 122 with 2 grenades + a guard who throws one later in the level

Marc unhoards some more easy points in the middle of the year
Arch 15 continues to blueball the-elite as wodahs is googling and gus focuses on SA/00A first
Goose gets a Silo 1:08.00 and then stops streaming for the rest of the year
Luke gets a clean caverns 1:12 and reclaims 300 with a fluked 1:29 00A while going for 1:30.
Sammy begrudgingly learns 2.x and grinds out the 2:17
Randy and I both get runway 0:29
Randy gets S2 SA 0:47 on his next completion
I get bunker 1 0:20, Ace comes back shortly after and ties it with a run where a nade was dropped.
Someone gets a clean Silo 1:20 using jap after realizing picking up the BA doesn't lose 20 seconds
Ace gets Bunker 2 0:53 in a solid run
