This thread is for planning and organization for The-Elite at AGDQ19. Why so early? I think you know why after the AGDQ18 shitstorm. The primary goal of this thread is to get as many Eliters as humanly possible together in as close of vicinity as possible. Some people have talked to each other for 10, 15, even nearly 20 years and still never met. This may be the only time to fix that.
AGDQ in its current form may not last much longer so this may be our last chance to have the convenient option of the event connected hotel venue to host the dozens of people that want to come. If GDQs become a convention or some shit, the whole point will be pretty much gone as we would be staying in a hotel not connected to the event... something we could do at any time in any hotel in America.

GOAL 1: Get every willing Eliter to come to AGDQ, especially those who have not been to a major meet.
HOW TO ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL:
- Get Ace and other high profile eliters who have not come before to commit as early as possible. If Ace and say Marc were to come, everyone else will domino effect commit to coming.
- Host a marathon on The-Elite's twitch channel to raise money for foreign Eliters travel costs (this is a separate massive project that we will need to plan for)
- Pester people frequently and ASAP about this so they have ample time (1 year 1 month from this post) to start planning themselves with time off work and money, etc.
GOAL 2: Submit both GE and PD RTA runs to serve as a foundational reason for us being there (and make registration free for runners).
HOW TO ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL:
- Have a well thought out plan for the game submission form to maximize the chances of both games being accepted.
- Have dedicated skilled commentator(s) for both games
- Make one or both runs a race to get more Eliters involved in the runs. Relay race is also an option.
- The runner(s) having a recent history of running RTA for the game on stream for the submission judges to see.
The timeline for having submissions ready should be approximately the same as AGDQ18:

GOAL 3: Book as many rooms adjacent to each other as possible at the event hotel.
HOW TO ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL:
- The moment that GDQ announces the venue and dates for AGDQ19, someone will need to call the hotel and see if its possible to book for the week of GDQ right then
- If not, then a dedicated hotel booker will need to be on standby for the precise moment that event booking goes live to call in and reserve rooms

GOAL 4: Have tons of CRTs and recording devices brought to the event.
HOW TO ACCOMPLISH THIS GOAL:
- Find someone who is willing to help accumulate a ton of CRTs to bring (josh, etc)
- Everyone that is driving should bring every small CRT they own that works
