Pewdiepie is just in denial of the stark reality. He can't cope with the truth and so resorts to mockery. Sad.

Pewdiepie is having fun with it lol, I don't know what you're on about Shadow.  He clearly enjoys watching these clips and is making a good time, sharing them with his friends (viewers) just like you would if you were hanging out with some buddies or whatever.

Very, very strange analysis.  Pewdiepie is very self aware (as evidenced by his numerous references to his own game rage in that very video.)

Heh, that wouldn't surprise me. I've only watched like, two clips of his, despite how popular he is.  :nesquik:
I more took my cue from the thread title, which it's also conceivable I've read the wrong way (Depot reference?).

He's definitely good at editing for effect. That was a funny video.

By the way, I don't know if I've said it in the past, but I love that rant. So spot-on.

StayGold is some degenerate who thinks that this is "bad publicity" in the same way that the Chibi & Caveman debacle was bad publicity.  (It only was because of how they played it.)  I already posted a fresh meme about it to Twitter which got a good deal of likes and follows.  You need to embrace the memes, which not everyone knows how to do.

Pewdiepie is very based tbh. Most internet dudes in their 20s or 30s would like his content if they just want to relax with some funny and (sometimes but not always) mindless banter.  People used to think he was crazy because he raged at games in 2010, but the fact of the matter was, he was just ahead of his time, as this is the kind of content that basically created Twitch.  Now he mostly watches funny videos or looks at memes and has a laugh, but he also has some very intellectual leaning content.

Here are some of my fav Pewdiepie vids if you (or anyone else reading this thread who doesn't like him) wants to take a gander:

LOL News (lampooning on sensationalist news in 2017) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZuJvOOY0sA
Mad Lads (reviewing r/madlads) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RkvczNWh9ZM
Bobs and Vegana (reviewing r/indianpeoplefacebook) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vvvSyBNiHc
Book Review (12 Rules for Life, 1984, Fahrenheit 451, more) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZ_qiYc133U

His chat about the Logan Paul situations are also very good as they're coming from a place of earnestness and experience.

Pewdiepie will go down in history as the most influential man of the internet.  University Masters thesises (or whatever replaces them in 50-100 years) will be studying the effects he had on internet culture, as well as the effects internet culture had on the human condition, reflected through Pewdiepie.

Thanks for the list. I only had time to watch the book one so far, and while his analysis is pretty general, I definitely agreed with him on the four or five of the books I'd read. I listened to a podcast with Jordan Peterson recently and I think I'd agree with the general assessment there as well.

I'm looking forward to the LOL News one though...

I was joking m8.
I am of the belief that there is no such thing as bad publicity. I linked your channel in a comment and explained that you're doing awesome things and that retro video game fans would enjoy.

I know where your mind was during that rant. And the fact that Pewdiepie made a satirical joke out of it, is a great thing in my opinion. Obviously his goal is always to make people laugh and enjoy his video's.

With your consent, I think people should shout you out in the comment section of the video.

I also liked the vid and thought it was a bit silly that people would find it offensive or whatever

Reminded me of Milo Yiannopoulos. He actually makes valid statements.

So I always thought he had a speech impediment, but turns out he is just Swedish.
