Bears have scored one offensive touchdown in the last 3 games against Philly and that was garbage time in a 54-11 game. Prepare for an ugly game. Probably will bet against whatever I just posted tbh.

Super Bowl: Saints > Chiefs, 37-34

Colts and Cowboys won the day but if you missed it you can still hop in the Weekly Predictions format and just pick the two Sunday games. No one has more than 1 correct pick yet so you won't be at much of a disadvantage.

The second round is done, with the Chiefs, Patriots, Rams, and Saints advancing to the Championship Round!
Let's see how many games everyone got correct this round:
4 correct - Mr. Guru
3 correct - wiff, Cue-weck, Ngamer, mw, Thingy
2 correct - Lark, AxZ
1 correct - Ace, wheat
0 correct - Jimbo
Those are worth two points each!
Here are the scores after 2 rounds:
8 - Mr. Guru, wiff, Ngamer, mw
7 - Cue-weck, Thingy
6 - Lark
4 - AxZ, wheat
2 - Ace
Mr. Guru proves you don't need to play every week to find yourself on top of the stack, while Lark wishes he hadn't changed his preds. Ng, wiff, and mw are also tied for first heading into what's sure to be an intense third week.

Originally I said
Conference: Chiefs, Saints
But I'm going to switch that to
Saints
Patriots
The Rams and Chiefs offenses were very impressive last week, but in the end I'm going to trust the veteran QBs to lead game winning drives in the 4th quarter.

The championship round is done, and the Super Bowl matchup is set! The Rams will be facing the Patriots in two weeks.
Let's see how everyone did this round:
2 correct - Thingy, Cue-weck
1 correct - mw, Ace, wiff, Ngamer
0 correct - wheat, Lark
Those were worth three points each!
Here are the scores after 3 rounds:
13 - Cue-weck, Thingy
11 - mw, Ngamer, wiff
8 - Mr. Guru
6 - Lark
5 - Ace
4 - wheat, AxZ
Cue-weck and Thingy leapfrog the pack with a perfect week. The group at 11 are still doing okay, though. Just one round remains!
---
Next up will be the Super Bowl, here is the matchup:
Sunday @ 6:30pm
Patriots
vs Rams
---
Here's any easy copy/paste version you can use to make your picks:
Patriots vs Rams
And we'll follow the rule set from 2008, picks for the final round will be worth FOUR points each. Get those picks in! There's no special bonus for picking the Super Bowl MVP but you can list your best guess if you wish. If you want a chance to win a tiebreaker, you should list your predicted final score for the game. The sum of the difference of each team's real score to your predicted score will serve as a tiebreaker for anyone who finishes level on points.

Most entertaining Championship Sunday ever, should be a fantastic Super Bowl. Even so...

Originally I said...
Super Bowl: Saints > Chiefs, 37-34
MVP will be Drew Brees
Came pretty close! It's hard to trust a 24 year old quarterback and 33 year old coach in the biggest game of their lives against a Brady/Belichick duo that will be totally unphased, but I've been saying all season that the cream of the crop in the NFC was slightly ahead of the best the AFC had to offer, and I'm going to stand by it.
Rams 33, Patriots 30
MVP: Brandin Cooks
-
Rams 38-37
Cooks MVP
-
It's all over!
Time to tally the scores.
Here's what everyone picked:
Rams - JDBlack, Lark, mw, Cue-weck, Ngamer, Wiff
Patriots - Thingy, Mr. Guru
Those were worth four points each!
Here are the final scores:
17 - Thingy
13 - Cue-weck
12 - Mr. Guru
11 - Ngamer, wiff, mw
6 - Lark
5 - Ace
4 - wheat, AxZ
0 - JDBlack
The final score tiebreaker was used to break the three-way tie at 11 points.
---
Time to award the podium:
Taking home Jimbo's old pants in 4th place is....Ngamer!
In third place, with 12 points on the back of Tom Brady is....Mr. Guru!
Slotting in at 2nd, coming just one Super Bowl pick away from the title is....Cue-weck!
And your 2018 NFL Playoffs Prediction Champion is....Thingy!
Thanks to everyone for playing.

The Lions beat the Pats 26-10 and yet the rest of the whole damn league can't figure it out. This is also the first time in the last 60 years the Lions either won the super bowl or beat a team that won it*
Goff sucks sure but I blame McVay's ego here, the Pats defense is only good vs 11 personnel and they ran 11 personnel assuming they'd just out execute them rather than oh idk say exploit any of their weaknesses. Only a few clunkers in the last 15 Super Bowls or so. That Pats team was certainly vulnerable but they outcoached everybody--same as it ever was.
*I just made this up as the 2010 packers lost 7-3 to the lions in some game that made even Jimbo do something else than watch football.
