I'm barefoot with my work uniform on before I put my socks/shoes on. I've learned some people put their socks on before their pants, wow!
What do you do?

This poll is not supportive of those of us who prefer to go nude. I demand a new poll.
-
i have on occasion done the horrific sock, sock, shoe, shoe, pants though
-
I wear long dress socks for work, it's easier to hike them up without pants on
-
Always socks before pants. C'mon people.

At least it wasn't shoe shoe sock sock
-
Socks before pants

Socks before pants. Much more efficient.
-
how is it more efficient?

You save the step of rolling your pant cuffs back down over your socks. It also just feels more natural to have your socks on before the pants.

Obviously I think about AF1 strats when I'm getting dressed but it's clear now that I should have been optimising sock-trouser strats.
I've been living in the dark ages putting on trousers first.

Sometimes I skip pants, just avoid the guards and everything will be fine.
-
Usually, just panic and plan small time saves to get to work on time. Usually involves putting on shoes without tying or worse, without untying them and stomping into them on the way to the car.

Yeah the results of this poll were SURPRISING.
I'm willing to bet that there's a correlation with the pants, sock, sock, shoe, shoe people and those who add milk before the cereal. :nesquik:

Pants before socks. Way too surprising.

What kind of monster...
-
shoes, pants, sock, sock

I've been still thinking about this and realized that over the years I've sort of adopted an efficiency model that I don't even really think about when I dress.
For example, if putting on a shirt I'll tuck in, I put on shirt, then pants.
If putting on a shirt I won't tuck in (going for a run) then I'll put on shorts, then shirt.
If wearing pants, it's always socks before pants.
If wearing shorts, I don't really care and sometimes put on socks afterward.
I perhaps care too much about efficiency sometimes...

I almost never go sockless. I sleep in socks and wear them with my slip on shoes and sandles around the house. The only exception is after a shower getting ready for work. I go pants shirt socks shoes getting ready for work but that's just because I don't want to wear socks in the bathroom and get them wet potentially
