Let me take you back to when i first joined the-elite. It was September of 2018. As a very experienced speedrunner already Luke Szklarz saw potential in me, and picked me up for his league team at the time, Buy the Dip. I felt welcome the moment i joined and one of the main reasons i decided to distance myself away from the other games i've ran in the past was because i feel like no one pushes their games as hard as the-elite does, and i wanted to be a part of that. After League finished it wasn't long before i got approached to hoard and after seeing what the kapaps did i was inspired to grind my ass off, in the best interest for the video. The name k4 comes as a joke to the kapaps, where it quickly became a community meme to call the possibility of kapap 4, "kebab 4". We thought kebab 4 would have sounded a bit too off, so we went with k4. But if you are ever in confusion, yes, the k stands for kebab :pimp:
In October of 2018 we started. In may of 2019 i released this video.
The video itself entails no details to the hoard whatsoever and was initially a copycat "Cicada 3301" scavenger hunt. However in the description of the video you are supposed to reach the end of a puzzle by using various methods of decryption and steganography. If you reached the end, you would reach this image.

The final riddle of the puzzle was a lot harder than i anticipated so no one actually ended up solving it without a bit of a hint. I wanted the-elite community to solve the riddle first, before the public did so i gave the main three people that were trying to solve it (Sammy Rodgers, MW & Yendis) a hint. After the image got revealed it went a bit under the radar, which was probably for the better for us, it means we could come out and surprise you guys. :)
3 weeks have gone by since the initial video titled "??? - Teaser" and we have now changed it to "[k4] - Teaser." We're not done however. It was obvious from the start that somebody had to come out and say that a hoard was going on, and we decided on me. But we wanted to reveal one more character. So today, it's time to do just that.

Now that you know AT LEAST 2 of the people involved, i want you all to write some predictions. This is a very ambitious project for us, it's been hell at times hoarding since October 2018. We hope you will all show up for the hoard. A date has yet to be announced but late august early september is what it's looking like. I'm also not sure if we're doing it on my twitch channel, but it's likely. Feel free to answer the questions below, thanks everyone again, it's been a pleasure.
