Title: OBS Script to remind you to record your runs
Post by: Banz on June 17, 2019, 05:47:49 pm
Due to recent events I got inspired to make this neat script to remind you all to record your runs!  :nesquik: This script checks if you are recording or not and if not then you will be reminded by sound of your choosing. You can even choose how often you will be reminded. Selected sound needs to be in .wav format. Oh if you are recording with amarec tough luck you should change to OBS.

Instructions:
1. Store these files anywhere you feel like just remember where you stored them.
2. In OBS go to Tools->Scripts then add new script from + sign. Select recordingalert.lua file from where you stored these files
3. recordingalert.lua appeared in "Loaded Scripts" list click on it and then configure alert interval to your liking and maybe select your own alert sound (Needs to be in .wav format)

I added optional "Detect input" thingy. It adds "Detect Input" hotkey to your obs hotkey settings. This can be used to detect if you are playing or not using NintendoSpy. When Detect input is enabled alert will only play if it detects the hotkey being pressed. So to sum up bind NintendoSpy to some key of your liking then add that key to OBS hotkey "Detect Input". Now you should only get alerted when you are playing and not recording!
