music is good

If it's just myself in the car, i.e. me going to work & back, or running a quick errand, it is pretty loud. I ignore the high sound warning I get on my phone. Likely 70ish dB. I can still hear ambulance sirens & car horns pretty easily so it does not affect my driving nor perception of others driving. There is usually a few seconds gap between songs where I can hear my engine, JUST in case anything goes wrong. This HAS happened once.
If others are in the car, it's usually lower. Anywhere between 30-50 dB, i.e. enough to engage in a healthy conversation with the music volume slightly lower.

Quieter around town, on the highway have it fkn loud. Loud enough so you can't hear the road noise... or hear me scream

Literally max it out (phone and car) in my own car, sometimes max it out in the work car which is much louder. Turn it down when entering a residential area (even during the day).

I don't currently have the means to connect my phone to my car and radio music is irrel as hell so I most often listen to sports radio when I'm driving.
-
I listen to podcasts and audiobooks almost exclusively in the car, so it's usually just loud enough to make out the words.

If it's just myself in the car: quite loud

Louder if it's my music.
If it's bond music, I drive faster.

I'm not big on rap/hip-hop unless I'm driving with the bass turned all the way up
