Anyone ever tried going through this gap before?
First half is the warp, second part of the video is vs a 2:18 "racing" to the corner red box.
didn't want to spend anymore time trying to get footage, so my side is cut down from where I was getting stuck on walls and what not, and on that run I just got boosted through so that works too I guess.
I also took a sub optimal starting path.
"Race" starts when the ammo appears on both screens, matched up the ending around the corner of the red box.
Did ya know you could also R-lean valetine and force him to walk in a straighter line? It doesn't seem useful for speedrunning though, unless a TASer can look into that, I couldn't get him very far on console, it's pretty precise and you have to constantly start/stop moving.

Assuming that works I have conducted a forensic analysis of the situation, and it appears that by drawing over the strategy guide map, then making the lines straight, the warp may be a fraction faster taking into account a margin of error?
Well it doesn't look like it wants to embed itself.

And there's already a TAS that uses both things...

Warp is too inconsistent to pull off regularly and flawlessly in a real time run at the moment. Not as tough as depot warp probably but bad enough where luck might be a factor. And considering all the other luck factors on Statue, it wouldn't be useful to go for.
