The start of a new decade is upon us, and what better way to start than with some HEALTHY preds?
I'm posting this to carry on with the tradition of the "Sylvester Tip", where we predict what the rankings will look like at the end of the year! For reference, here are the world records as of 12/31/19.

All of these are very realistic untieds. Cant believe how modest people are being considering how many times we have been proven time and time again that more untieds happen than people expect.

BOLD AND ODDLY SPECIFIC PREDICTIONS:
- Ace obtains the seven Chaos Emeralds (Good PC, good TV, good internet, 2.X Controllers, good mic and camera, time to play, and motivation) and is finally able to play at full power, achieving many WRs and Untieds. He ends the year with >5850 points and >35 WRs, as GoldenEye Champion.
- Wodahs attempts to maintain the number one spot, but Ace's Runway SA 22 seals the deal. Nevertheless, he also has a good year.
- Gus and Irie climb up the ranks, passing the mostly inactive 5th–8th place players. Timtamz and Flechr also climb up quite a bit, both of them reaching the Top 15 by the end of the year.
- Joris skyrockets up to 13th place and gets rank 1 or 2 in Agent Points after caking all of Frigate 23, Statue 2:18, Streets 1:11, and a few other strong times. He then ties Dam 52 on December 2nd, exactly 3 years after the original 52. Everyone goes batshit insane. He posts "tier 3 tbh" on the "Player's comments" section.
- Goose gets exactly one PR this year. Probably Cradle 33, maybe an LTK/DLTK time. He mostly focuses on making videos, SpeedLore, and Pokémon Snap high scores.
- Karl plays a bit this year, but mostly focuses on making videos and taking care of his family. He gets a handful of PRs, notably the Egypt sweep.
- Irie gets two Jungle untieds. He makes a truly remarkable face during one of the runs, which becomes one of his Twitch emotes: iriebu1Pog. He also achieves 17/20 Leaderboards.
- Boss gets the Cradle sweep plus a few other miscellaneous PRs, including in LTK. He also gets PD Champion.
- McGarbage achieves Statue 2:17 on 00A, then gets it on SA relatively quickly. He gets bombarded with pleas to go for the untied sweep for the following couple of months.
- Swiss gets Depot Agent 23; no one seems to notice it. Ace also gets 23, and it gets posted on r/speedrun for some reason.
- Gus gets a bunch of records, all with 2.X, including Depot 00A 45 with the fabled Rocket Shot. It gets voted "Coolest Untied of the Year".
- Possibly my craziest prediction, but I want to make it before anyone else does: Ace goes for Caverns A 1:00 and actually gets it.
- Someone gets Silo SA 1:07, and afterwards Marc returns to untie Silo 00A. Literally everyone gets mad that he didn't go for the untied sweep.
- Jimbo gets a few PRs, enough to keep him above Goose, should he get Cradle 33 one day.
- People stop pretending that S2 A 46 isn't tier 8 and drop 47 down to 70 points.
- Surface 2 00A is played by Boss, Ace, Wodahs and Clemens with the Far 3rd Camera Shot. It eventually settles at 1:19, likely by Clemens.
- Haydos releases an unhoard of his own, in which he obtains over 1000 points.
- Not just one, but two untied sweeps happen this year: Ace on Facility and Henrik on Train.
- Aztec gets two new untieds, but the 1:35 remains untied, as no one manages to survive a single run without body armor. I can not predict who will achieve the untieds.
- Frigate SA 58 is tied by one of Ace, Karl or FrostHops. Frigate 00A remains untied.
- There is still no Dam SA tutorial.
- SammoSammy gets Streets SA 1:54. He shit talks Verbsky – a pop-off that becomes a meme copypasta in the global speedrunning community – then laughs for ten minutes straight.
- Ace hoards Dam 00A 1:54, until it is finally revealed during the Dam 00A SpeedLore.
- A new player joins the rankings and immediately posts a crazy good time, including a music video.
- A new meme league is created, after OFOS gets essentialy maxed. It gets so popular that a thread pops up unironically suggesting replacing 2020's Summer League with the new meme league.
- Ace gets both Archives 53s in quick succession. Everyone wonders why this didn't happen years ago.
- A new strat is theorized for Runway A. Unsurprisingly, it doesn't work.
- Egypt A 44 becomes a 6-way tie, in this order: KJ HK GR JQ JF RI
- A fan favorite player returns. ( ´ ▽ ` )
- Surface 2 SA 47 is achieved by a couple of players who are not even in the Top 50.
- Ace gets Bunker 2 00A 53 with the new strats, maybe even 52. If he does get 52, there's a 6% chance he'll have gotten the 2-second untied.
