Title: Can someone debunk some possible time saves?

Hey, first post here, but I have been watching goldeneye speedrun videos for a while now, but I don't have all of the required equiptment to do runs myself.   

Is it possible to save time on all difficulties of Egyptian Temple, after getting the golden gun and killing the first Baron Samedi, to run to the door leading to the last Baron Samedi and then killing the second Baron Samedi in time so you don't need to wait for the door to open?   

Also on Surface 1 all difficulties would it save any time  if you stand on the platform at the same time as shooting the locks? I see most people shoot the locks and then go down the hole to end the level, but I feel like it could save a few frames at the very least if you are already standing on the platform that drops.   

I have a few more possible theories, but these are probably my best 2 to be honest, and if these are worthless ideas then it's pointless to share the rest, if anyone could test them, or even if a top 25 ranked player could simply tell me they wont save any time or aren't viable, i'll be satisfied.

Recommend hanging out in some streams, many of us would be happy to answer questions like this in there.

On your two questions:

1) We need to be looking at the second Baron to make sure he spawns in the correct spot, plus we wouldn't have time to run to the door, open it, and run back to the second Baron and shoot him as early as invinciblity raises

2) You can't stand on the centre of the platform, there's an invisible wall preventing Bond from standing on it

I watch ryan lockwood and karl jobst stream, but I wouldn't ask questions about a level that they aren't playing.

I thought that might be the case, it just seems like people are waiting a long time for him to spawn.

Lockwood and Karl are trying to entertain 100+ people when they stream, so that's understandable.
Come and hang out in my stream and you might be the only person chatting though, so I'm happy to take any random question on.
Plenty of us that just stream as a way to hang out with mates are happy to go on any tangent, take a look at the game category and drop in on the smaller GE streams.

Being a popular streamer doesn't bother me, I usually just browse https://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/GoldenEye%20007 and flick through whoever is on at the time.   

I mainly watch youtube though, as I work a lot and I am from Australia so often you guys are asleep when I am awake.
