I'm brand new to the forum here. Does anyone have an award given to the top GoldenEye speedrunner of the year? If not, I'd like to start one if possible.

The award has been the leaderboard rankings usually - There have been summer contests and hall of fame inductions however this is a good idea for the community - What award would you seem appropriate for the speed runner of the year or what would you like to see contributed to the speed runner

We've done "awards of the year" from time to time, but mostly as a meme/entertainment thing. There hasn't been any official awards given lately, there are incentives to go for insane untieds and whatnot, but the community can for the most part agree on who has been the most dominant players of the year without any official indication.

As long as I'm able, I'd put up (I know it isn't much, but if anyone else wants to contribute, that's welcome as well) $100 and a trophy at the end of each year.

Would it be a prize for whoever is number 1 at midnight on the 1st of January or would it go to the player who spent most days at number one in the preceding year?

I suppose it should go to whoever has the number 1 spot at the end of the year so it could stay competitive the entire time. Also, lg, that would be awesome. How do we make this happen?

Is hoarding allowed? If so, you should establish which timezone you are going by. I see New Year's Eve unhoards afoot!

Actually my ban was dealt with via emails in which I was told a permanent ban was too
harsh of a punishment.
I had many vices in my life during that period of time. No excuses I did what I did and I am banned from the rankings because of that.
If mods feel I should be banned from the forums. I accept that.

Ig, nobody knows who you are. You haven't streamed, no one knows your voice or what you look like.
Just make a new account, pick a new pseudonym, a new username, and start fresh. You have that opportunity. Many other don't. Take what you've learned and use it wisely.

Dishonesty is what put me in this position so I will not be making a different account.
