Had an idea for a new streaming series for when i am streaming again somewhat soon, called Challenge Rützou, which would be broadcasted at least once per week. Basically anyone can challenge the Rützou for a best out of 1 Any% race. That way, even average players have a chance of winning, since anything can happen. Trev can die in the end of Facility, scientists can fail on Silo, hostage can get shot on Frigate, Jungle can fuck up, etc. If a match is with a highly ranked any% player like Clemens for instance, it would be called a super match.
1-2 races per broadcast. I think 3 per broadcast would be too tiring for me, hard to foretell.
Please share any idea. For example, which day(s) of the week? 1 or 2 broadcasts per week? Friday and Saturday? Saturday and Sunday? Friday and Sunday? What time of the day? Could be difficult with the different time zones. What should the deciding factor be regarding the order of contesters? How should it all be set up? Should a super match be a best out of 3?

Sounds like a cool idea. I think some incentive to beat you would be really cool, such as VIP status in your channel.

Would be amazing to see you streaming again, Marc. I'll definitely be popping in.
A suggestion I have for at least the super matches, but maybe also the other matches is that you get in a discord call with your challenger. Seeing you banter with eg. Clemens or Ace would be super entertaining.

I don't think it's necessary to broadcast on a certain day(s) per week. Just take every challenge as it comes and arrange a specific day and time for that particular race. I would promote a discord room and a twitter account below my stream when i start streaming again, so i can give updates on any upcoming races and other stuff. I guess people can just spontaneously challenge me here in this topic, on discord or on twitter.

That sounds fun! But i will stick just to Goldeneye. Besides, it's not worth it to me to put all those hours of practice in and to buy a PAL console which my capture card somehow doesn't work with anyway, since i assume you need it for the glitch on Deep Sea.

Awesome post man! My suggestion is that you also mix any% races with "matchplay games" where you play the levels "IL" style and only get one shot per level. This is very fun to both play and watch because having only one try per level makes it require another type of skill, having to clutch it while it matters the most kinda. I've played Kyto and Irie a few times and it's super fun! The downside is that it takes longer time but you do get time to rest in between the levels so it shouldn't be as tiring as any% still.

I agree. If these super matches are hyped up and given a scheduled time and date with Goose or Karl or someone like that as a caster, that would pull a lot of viewers. Can make some fight posters like a boxing match too.
