More context on the design is required to make a decision. Curtains? Wall color? Furniture?

They look the exact same.

Flip a coin, don't think about it, and call it a day.

if you're set on carpet though it better be a bedroom or kids playroom. POSSIBLE corridor for kids bedrooms / playroom. carpet anywhere else is the architectural equivalent of cooking a well-done steak.
and in the case of the above carpet locations, get something fun and uplifting like a deep blue or deep red. save the beige / monotone for more robust materials such as bricks / concrete / stone..

if anyone wants any architectural or interior design advice i'd be happy to put together a quote. with my refined taste, knowledge and skill we would be able to make your property go up in value like tesla stock.

The beige looks a bit darker, which will help conceal stains.

I have heard that carpet is actually unhealthy, trapping lots of bad germs, bacteria, odours, etc, which are hard to get out, even with proper and regular maintenance.

If I were building a house from scratch, I would likely avoid carpet all together, as Luke has suggested.

Anyways, I realize this post is unhelpful.  I wish you the best in your carpet journey.  I bet it will be luscious and beautiful, and your children will play graciously with their little toy cars and stuff, someday in the future.
