Twitch has, for the first time in several years, launched an extremely relevant feature called "Channel Point Predictions". You can hype up your streams by setting possible events, such as "will I get a good FR on Statue", "21 or lower ending on Attack Ship" or "run loses to Caverns 00 Agent" and allowing viewers to gamble their channel points away. I've checked the requirements for and tested this, and as long as you're an affiliate or Partner, you'll have no problems. You don't need to worry about posting these in the middle of an RTA run, as moderators can handle all the work. For now there are only two options viewers can choose; but this will surely increase in the future, such that LIVE Fellas polls can be a thing mid-stream.
Happy Channel Point Predicting (CPP)!

AceCorp news reporting quickly as usual. Only a month and a half late this time :nesquik:
https://blog.twitch.tv/en/2020/12/12/channel-points-predictions-let-your-viewers-guess-your-destiny/ . Good luck to all hoping to gather channel points

Why does SharpayCorp find every opportunity it can to disparage AceCorp (a much more powerful corporation), often, if not always, with misleading counterattacks? Yes, CCP has been around for a while, but have you seen it being used in a single Eliter stream until today? Clearly it needs more awareness, and this is the time to bring it.
Also, you are incorrect; CCP has been around since early-mid November of 2020.

I was going to use this link https://www.engadget.com/twitch-predictions-channel-points-182233979.html but it specified "The feature is now available to 50 percent of all Twitch Partners & Affiliates. Twitch is hoping to gather user feedback from the soft launch first before making it available to everyone by the end of the year.". I figured the ever misleading and painfully slow acecorp would attempt to change the criteria as if it only was a feature when shown as "available to all". A lose-lose to a misleading and apparently powerful corporation.

Yes, 50% of Twitch Partners & Affiliates, so it was definitely available to some Eliters (yet was never used). Why bring this up then? Clearly for no other reason than an attempt to attack AceCorp.
Always remember Sharpay.. the one Eliter who worked hard to get you access to the main Elite Discord channel when many others thought you were a nobody..

A fellow mate just asked me how to create predictions. Here's how (estimated reading time is 30 seconds):
1. Click your circular avatar at the top-right corner of the page, and click "Creator Dashboard"
2. On the left-side of the screen, click the "Stream Manager" tab. Then, on the right, click "Start a Prediction".

3. Write a prediction, and provide both possible outcomes. The submission period, as stated, is the amount of time viewers have to predict an outcome before the submission closes.

Great info from Acecorp - The sharpeye corp lacing was a good laugh reply but Acecorp material much more informative - Looks like this could have some promising continued engagement/gamification

SammoSammy (http://twitch.tv/sammosammy) just did an incredible "One Try Gamble" stream where we (the viewers) placed channel point bets on him trying to beat a certain time in one try. For example, could he complete Caverns Agent 1:04 or quicker in 1 try? Runway Agent 0:23? Aztec glass? Trev shot on Statue Agent? Sammo streams are already great, but this was such a good stream I felt the need to mention it here; not only so that other people can participate and finally do something with their mass-hoarded channel points, but perhaps even try this gimmick on their own streams.
Just be warned that Sammo may judge you on your bet! :nesquik:
Happy Channel Point Pred'ing!

Mates, people can learn a lot over time. And one major thing I've learnt over the past month is: channel point gambling is one of the most degenerate things in which you can involve yourself. It is meant to keep you clicking that degenerate green button under the chat box every 2 minutes for no real reason. It is meant to make you focus on your irrelevant point score instead of truly enjoying your mate's RTA run. It is meant to make you vitriolic towards your mate, only because he "stole" your channel points from winning a bet against you. It is meant to make you BEG the streamer to create some useless prediction, thus RUINING his flow state of playing well. It is meant to keep you mindlessly leaving your mate's stream on past your bed time so you can farm these fake channel points.
Let us return to normalcy by ending the degeneracy of engaging in these unhealthy channel point predictions.
