Title: how to turn on gameshark cheats with everdrive?

my friends,

I go to turn on Gameshark cheats in Everdrive (for fun), and even enter the cheats properly on the "cheat" menu in the Everdrive menu.

However, when I go to start up the game, it appears as though the cheats are NOT enabled... despite me clicking "ON" when I enter the cheat.

Why is this so complicated????

Tbh, I just want to play Pokemon Snap VOLCANO with "Press L to stop the cart", to TEST if I can get a higher score from slightly further down past the egg... but it's a two line cheat, and there seems to be no way actually enable it in the Everdrive, sadly  :tired:
