I just tried to start grinding Bunker 1 A for :18, as usual for the past week+, when my tv didn't seem to register that GE was on. I turned the console off and back on. It worked. I selected my file, then Bunker 1, then agent, then pressed start.
The first cutscene started, it was the one with the guards in the room with the console. I held C up and C right to prepare to start the level AND ALL THE GUARDS FOLDED IN ON THEMSELVES AND HAD SOME SORT OF SPASMING, TWITCHING STROKE/ANEURYSM/WHATEVER. They looked almost like lovecraft horrors - black holes with limbs flying in and out in random directions. Then the screen went black. I was not expecting that, scared the shit out of me for an instant. I think my cart may be tilted, but I'm not gonna fix it quite yet. I'm gonna leave it as is and try to recreate this, but I'll be recording this time....
What's the craziest thing you guys have seen in this game?

Playing with a tilted cartridge can break your game, I wouldn't mess around.

Thank you guys so much, I was afraid to check up on this topic b/c I thought maybe no one would believe me. I knew that I likely wasn't the first to experience this, but there was always the faint chance. Also, my eyes may have actually been deceiving me, it was late.... Scary thoughts.
I guess it was tilted, but I couldn't tell. I take the n64 in and out of the bathroom every time I play (I play at night while wife is sleeping and this is the furthest from our bed, so yes... I play GE in the bathroom), I suppose these movements slightly tilted it somehow over many times moving it. TY for the heads up Irie, I'll be sure to take the cart out and put it back in every time I play from now on.

I bring a chair in of course, lol!
If I sat on the toilet I'd have a more direct line of sight though, it'd probably be better for my spine. It would be just what I deserve to end up with scoliosis, how badly I suck.
As a plus, if I got my Bunker 1 :18 like that, I could consider it a blunkerin. (Sorry if that was too crude)
