Title: Bedside Water Poll [Fellas #19(?)]
Post by: RWG on July 25, 2021, 01:05:25 pm
Few things hit like waking up in the middle of the night, relatively parched, and chugging the bottle or glass of water you keep on your beside.

But my friends, just how much water do you usually keep around your bedside area?

Personally, I usually keep about two 500 mL bottles by my bedside, and top them up nightly.  So I probably drink right around 500 mL through the night; though I keep more just in case I have a extra parched sleep.  I also sleep with a humidifier running which helps overall hydration and prevents the humidity in the room from reaching desert-like levels.

What about you?

I have a ~700ml bottle that I keep by the bed at night, but it's rarely full so I went for the 500ml response

I use an empty 0.7L bottle of Bombay Sapphire gin as my at-home drinking bottle. I removed the labels because it seemed unprofessional when drinking from it during lockdown video calls. My co-workers thought that I'm casually taking big sips of raw gin in the morning :ohwell:

If clean, the light-blue crystalline glass makes for a very fresh and invigorating appearance.

For me it's obligatory to have it bedside and fully loaded with tap water before I lay myself to rest. Can recommend.

No water at all. The few times I wake up in the middle of the night being thirsty I go to the kitchen and pour myself some water.

I tend to drink much during the day; especially in the morning and just before going to bed.

No water. Haven't woken up in the middle of the night since I was a child.

However, if I have drunk the night before, I'll often leave something to drink nearby (mineral water, energy drink, beer).
