My friends,
Coffee is one of the most universally consumed beverages in the entire world, and therefore, as far as we know, the entire universe. Coffee is a slight stimulant, and has been shown over the years to have very benign, if not beneficial effects on one's health. Coffee is... I suppose one could say, a universal good.
Personally, ever since giving up Coca Cola (nearly 6 months ago now!), I've began drinking a lot more coffee. I'd say about 3-4 cups per day. This isn't really a bad habit at all, and is far less unhealthy than drinking 6-8 Cokes/day. I take it with cream and sugar tbh, but this thread isn't about how you "take" your coffee, either. (Perhaps that poll can come at another time).
This poll asks, how do you prepare your coffee? Using what machine, device, etc? I'm relatively new to the whole coffee thing, so my poll options might be lacking, or redundant, or misguided entirely, so feel free to leave any coffee commentary below.
Personally, I use a drip coffee maker. I throw in some ground coffee, usually Folgers lately, and let it drip away. Then I have a hot pot of coffee for the next 2-3 hours. I'll usually make one of these when I wake up, and then another one after dinner, or perhaps halfway through my day (which is usually around midnight... a great and underrated time for coffee).
So how do you prepare your coffee?
Cheers and have a nice cup!

Percolator is about as bruh as instant coffee: because of the how it works it is essentially unavoidable to burn and/or over-brew the coffee. Supposedly pour over is the best, but it's fairly expensive and seems like a lot of work compared to French press/drip.
I currently use a drip coffeemaker mainly because I haven't got around to buying a French press. It's a nice option because you get decent coffee for essentially no work. I think, though, that you will see more of a difference in switching from pre-ground to fresh-ground coffee than you will switching from drip to a better method. Again, I've been lazy and just buying Gevalia pre-ground, but one of these days I'll buy a grinder.
My coffee of choice is Keweenaw Coffee Works (https://www.keweenawcoffeeworks.com/collections/roasts), either Borealis or Yooper Blend.

Drip, 2-3 cups a day. However, I use the coffee machine i.e. pour myself espresso every other day or so at work

I use various methods but mostly I have my fave places to go out to have a cup, fast food places and the like have good coffee imo. Coffee I had with Eise and Patrik in Trondheim Norway at Oyvinds place was one of the best cups I've had, had something similar recently, some particular kind of coffee maker and good beans I guess.
Actually feeling a cup now.

I make a double shot long black before work, and then a more modest single shot flatwhite otherwise I will stay up for hours.
$200 manual espresso machine does the job.

For making coffee at home I have three main methods, depending on how fast/lazy/big I want my coffee
1) Lazy - ALDI pod machine
2) Aeropress, when I want ONE good coffee and have the time (takes 3-5 mins to boil the kettle, grind my beans in a hand grinder, wait for the brew)
3) French press, for when I want a large number of cups at home
Melbourne likes to think of its coffee as some of the best in the world, yes we're coffee wankers, so it's pretty easy to get a good coffee.
I've made a habit of walking to my fave local cafe daily, with the endless work from home it's good to have a reason to go for a stroll and get the body moving a little.

I alternate between a hario v60, clever dropper, french press, and aeropress, depending on what I’m feeling. Lately it’s been majority clever dripper.

I always have instant coffee, and it's got to be sweet and milky. I once had a pod machine, but I started to dislike the taste. Heck, I've even started to buy the sachet stuff - it's super good!
