hey I'm working on a code change for the "past date" rankings page so can show times according to "date posted". Thought I'd also add a third option while I'm there, "strat author" and it will show who the author for the WR strat was at the time selected.

This is a great idea and should be pursued to its fullest extent.

I think this will get very messy, very fast. Nonetheless, if people decide to go through with this, I can recall most of everything from 2014-present, but it might get subjective when we're considering every micro detail.

Would be really cool if we could credit multiple people for a level, and link each initial to a wiki page that describes their strat contribution to the level

We would need a wiki to do that.

Yeah obviously a single strat can have multiple authors at varying levels of involvement, but also a single level can have multiple strats combined. Also what is the definition of the word "strat"? Does it include micro optimizations? Can of worms indeed.

I invented the "Good Lines" strat in 1985 and thus must be credited on all levels.

thanks for the feedback, but the feature is already dev complete, it's hardcoded to return "SN" as the strat author.
